1．Can revise the names of months and the names of the seasons.

【教学过程】

I．Warming up

1．Greeting.

2．Sing the song: “Seasons”.

3．Every day English:

What's your favourite season?

My favourite season is…

What day is it today?

What's the date today?

4．Go over the words and tasks of Unit 2.

II．Presentation and Practice

1．Teach “Listen and choose”.

（1）Revise the names of the months with the pupils.

（2）Call out a number for pupils to say the months.

（3）Revise the names of the season.

（4）Play the recording and let the pupils do the exercise.

（5）Check the answers.

2．Learn “Read and write”.

（1）Revise the vocabulary for talking about the seasons and months.

（2）Invite the pupils to tell you the duration of each season in China, then in Australia.

（3）Do the exercise.

（4）Check the answers.

3．Teach “Play a game”.

（1）Revise the names of seasons and months.

（2）Revise also the language for talking about the activities for various seasons.

（3）Let the pupils work in pairs. Pupil A thinks of an activity in China or Australia, and describes it to Pupil B, who will guess the country.

4．Learn “Do the project”.

III．Development

Talk about the others' favourite season.
