课件、教学图片等。

【教学过程】

I．Warming up

1．Greeting

2．Go over to the words and tasks of Unit 2.

Use the word cards to let pupils read the old words quickly. And ask the pupils to make some sentences about the seasons.

II．Presentation and Practice

（一）学习Story time.

1．Ask pupils to read the story in five minutes.

2．After the first reading, ask pupils to answer the questions.

（二）学习Did you know?

1．播放图片：不同地方，不同季节的图片。

2．小组讨论这些季节的特点。

3．学习单词：North Pole, Tropics, rainy season, dry season

4．谈谈自己了解到的世界各地不同的季节的特点。

III．Development

出示小黑板，让学生读一篇新故事，并做一些对话理解练习。

2．Do some exercises of the Activity Book.
