Giant pandas are the most famous animals in China. They are deeply loved by people both at home and abroad. However giant pandas once faced big challenges of survival(生存). To save them, the Chinese government has taken lots of ways. One important thing it has done is recreating bamboo forests. Bamboo makes up 99% of giant pandas’ food, without which they are likely to starve(饿死). Zoos have also tried to drive up their numbers by improving breeding(繁殖) methods.
Actually, giant pandas were taken off the endangered list by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in 2016. Born in 1938, Fan grew up in Shanghai. After graduating from the Department of History, Peking University(北京大学历史系) in 1963, she came to Dunhuang. In 1998, she became head of the Dunhuang Academy.

    Passage 6
We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting them and putting them into our plates. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know when and how to eat fruits.
Fruit should be eaten on an empty stomach. If you eat fruit like that, it will go straight through the stomach into the intestines(肠道). It will be good to your health and provide you with energy for life activities. So fruit is very important.
But when you eat two pieces of bread and then some fruit, it is stopped from doing so. Do you know the reason? You have probably heard people saying --- every time I eat watermelon, I burp (打隔). When I eat a banana, I felt like running to the toilet. When the fruit is mixed with other food, it produces gas. That's why you will feel uncomfortable. Actually, we will not check if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.
Eat a whole fruit. It is better than drinking the juice. When you really want to drink fruitan juice, drink only fresh fruit juice, not from the bottles or cans. Don't drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients(营养成分) at all. You only get the taste of the fruit. If you have understood the right way of eating fruits, you have the secret of beauty, health, happiness, energy and a long life.

I hope my advice can be helpful to you.

Sharing a good idea makes my happy
It is important to share something with others. It makes us happy.
I had an experience of sharing. Last term, a new boy came to our class to study with us. The first test made him so nervous that he failed. He got
worried and felt helpless until I came up to him and asked softly if he was OK. After I told him about some advice on studying, he was happy.
From then on, we got to know each other and shared our ideas, problems, and happiness. We became good friends. Sharing a good idea with friends helped us feel more confident.
