一、教学目标:

六、教学准备：课件，准备反映3～4月特征及相关节日特征的图片、照片。

教       学       过       程

1. Warming-up / Revision  （3’）

1）Sing a song: Months of the Year.

2）Review the words : January, February，skating\making a snowman New Year’s Day\Spring Festival

2. Presentation  （20 ‘）

1）让学生依次回答问题：

In January, there is a holiday．Do you know what holiday is in January?

Yes, it’s New Year’s Day．It’s very cold in January．

It often snows in January．What are the children in the picture doing?

They are skating．

2）让学生初读课文，找出When is Tree Planting Day? When is the Easter?

3）师生齐读课文。借助图片、简笔画和手势动作帮助学生理解celebrating, Tree Planting Day等词的意思，可以用汉语适当解释Easter以及Easter的一些习俗。

4）两段话全部理解后，让学生再完整地听一边录音，这一次要求学生跟读，模仿语音语调。

3. Practice  （17 ‘）

1）Which is the third month of the year?

What holiday is in March?

What are people doing in March?

Which is the fourth month of the year?

What holiday is in April?

What are people doing in April?

2）让学生查一查1～4月还有哪些节日，包括中国的和英语国家的常见节日，记录下来，并想办法弄清楚它们的英语说法。

4. Additional activities/Homework

1）Finish the activity book.

2）设计一张3～4月中节日的贺卡。
