一、教学目标
1. 能够在语境中正确使用时间介词介绍时间。
2. 能够在语境中正确使用频度副词介绍某人的行为次数。
- 使用时间介词、频度副词了解同学的日常行为习惯。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:
1. 通过提供不同的语境指导学生使用时间介词介绍时间。
2. 通过在语境中感知频度副词,指导学生用频度副词介绍行为的频率。
难点:指导学生如何使用时间介词、频度副词和how often了解同学作铺垫。
四、教学过程
Task 1
Step 1 Warming up
Let Ss talk about their favourite season
【设计意图】通过询问学生最喜欢的季节,引出本课的语言知识—介词的用法。
Step 2 Presentation
Let Ss read the sentences. Meanwhile, help them to analyze what it is about. Then ask them to work out the rules.
【设计意图】 通过语境,帮助学生聚焦时间介词的用法,在语境中讲解时间介词的用法。
Step 3 Practice
- Let Ss translate the Chinese into English.
- Let Ss to fill in the blanks with “at”, “on”, “in”.
- Let Ss help Tommy complete his e-mail.
【设计意图】通过提供不同形式的练习,从词组和表达,到单句层面,再到语篇层面,帮助学生时练习表达,内化时间介词的用法,巩固学习效果。
Task 2
Step 1 Presentation
1. Get Ss to fill in the blanks with “at”, “on”, “in”. Then check the answers. Next, help them to pay more attention to the adverbs of frequency.
【设计意图】通过复习时间介词的用法,自然引出频度副词,帮助学生关注频度副词。
2. Show the picture on Page 48 and ask them to get to know the adverbs of frequency.
How often/never/... do they exercise?
【设计意图】利用图示和例句,帮助学生感知频度副词的用法。
Step 2 Practice
1. Let Ss complete the sentences.
【设计意图】 通过在句子的小语境,操练频度副词的用法,达到内化语言的目的。
2. Ask Ss to make a dialogue to talk about their life at weekends and give the question bank and sample to help them.
【设计意图】结合task1和task2两部分知识,让学生在语境中真实运用本节课语法知识。
Step 3 Production
Ask Ss a question Do you know about the classmates? And guide them to do a survey to learn about their classmates.
【设计意图】通过设置有多了解同学的调查活动,引导学生使用频度副词和时间介词来介绍身边的同学。在内化语言的过程中,增进学生之间的了解,有助于形成良好的同学关系。
Step 4 Summary
Ask Ss to summarize the prepositions of time and adverbs of frequency.
【设计意图】学习后的总结和梳理有助于学生的短时记忆,同时,有助于学生系统化语法知识,形成知识网络。
Step 5 Homework
1. Practise talking about their daily activities with a new partner by using what we learn today.
2. Finish the exercises in Period Grammar of Unit 4 in the workbook.
【设计意图】引导学生在真实生活中使用目标语言,完成连续巩固今日所学。
