Task 1

Step 1 Warming-up

Guide Ss to look at the pictures and predict.

1. What festival are they getting ready for?

2. Does the girl have any money?

Step 2 Presentation

1. Guide Ss to read the conversation and answer questions.

We use there are before a plural noun.
