一、教学目标

1. 进一步巩固重点词汇、短语以及句型。

2. 能够使用目标语言以参与者的视角改写文章。

3. 增强热爱鸟类，保护鸟类的意识。

二、教学重点及难点

重点：

指导学生使用目标语言以参与者的视角改写文章，同时感受保护鸟类行动的效果和存在的问题。

难点：

通过积累、学习语言，要求学生使用目标语言以参与者的视角改写文章，同时感受保护鸟类行动的效果和存在的问题。

三、教学过程
Step 1 Revision

Show picture of Zhalong Nature Reserve and revise the information about it.

【设计意图】利用图片和结构图，激发学生学习兴趣，回顾上一个课时的内容，同时引入新课内容。

Step 2 Pre-reading

Get Ss to match the meanings with the words.

【设计意图】帮助学生理解目标词汇。

Step 3 While-reading

1. Get Ss to write T or F and correct the wrong ones according to the passage.
   【设计意图】通过帮助Daniel复习文章的细节信息，帮助学生积累素材语言。
2. Get Ss to read the passage and learn some language points.

【设计意图】鼓励学生发表自己的观点，在语篇中感知一些表达方式，同时创设情境让学生在语境中运用并掌握这些表达方式。

Step 4 Post-reading

1. Get Ss to complete their conversation with the words in the passage.

【设计意图】语言学习之后，为学生创设对话情境，帮助学生进行语言的内化使用。

2. Get Ss to complete the sentences according to the Chinese.

【设计意图】在语境中练习本课重点句型，巩固所学知识。

3. Show a crane’s words and get Ss to introduce the crane’s living environment in pairs.

4. Write in the perspective of a crane/tourist/a fisherman/a member of the Birdwatching Society/the Chinese government.

5. Get Ss to share their writings in group first and then in class. Meanwhile, get Ss to listen and take notes to prepare for the sharing.

Summarize what they’ve learnt in this class.

Step 6 Homework

1. Get Ss to polish their writings.

2. Get Ss to make a documentary to protect the birds.

【设计意图】修改习作是提升写作技能的出口，将所学运用到自己的情境中，迁移使用所学语言、信息等，帮助学生提升综合语言运用能力。同时通过做纪录片，为保护鸟类做出自己的努力，拓展学用渠道。
