Step 1 Warming-up
Guide Ss to have a free talk.
(1) How many seasons are there in a year?
(2) What are they?
【设计意图】自由谈论,激活旧知,提高兴趣,导入新课。
Step 2 Pre-writing
- Guide Ss to talk about the four seasons and write the key information and vocabulary.
【设计意图】通过谈论四季,复习总结四季的相关表达,为下边的写作激活词汇储备。
2. Tell Ss that Simon is reading an article about the winter in Harbin and ask Ss to help him complete it. Then enjoy the beautiful pictures in Harbin.
【设计意图】在聚焦Simon的文章中,关注篇章的表达,通过填空帮助学生有意注意核心词汇,同时引导学生欣赏哈尔滨冬天的美景,陶冶学生情操。
3. Guide Ss to read and draw a mind map to find out the structure.

1. Self-edit their own writing according to the writing evaluation table.
2. Summarize what they’ve learned in Unit 7 in their notebook.
