Unit 3 Robots

Task

一、教学目标

1. 掌握本课重点词汇和短语：satisfied, completely, regret, product, quality, be satisfied with, first of all, up to standard等。

2. 掌握以下重点句型：

How long do you expect your robot’s batteries to last?

I am not satisfied with it at all.

A good robot should only need checking every six months.

                       3. 能够阅读一份调查问卷，并根据问卷中的信息，补全一封投诉信。

4. 能够使用所学，写一封投诉信。

5. 学会合理解决问题。

二、教学重难点

重点：

Step 1 Warming-up

1. Guide Ss to brainstorm.

【设计意图】通过头脑风暴活动，激活学生已知，并引导学生在此基础上展开自己的思考，为后面的语言输出做好铺垫。

Step 2 Pre-writing

1. Guide Ss to read and talk.

【设计意图】通过阅读问卷内容，一方面为下面完成投诉信的任务做好铺垫，另一方面也训练了学生的表达能力，为写作做准备。

2. Guide Ss to complete the letter.

【设计意图】通过补充信息的活动，帮助学生理解投诉信的内容，初步感知投诉信的写作思路。

4. Guide Ss to read and fill in the form

【设计意图】通过回答问题及填表任务，训练学生获取关键信息的能力。同时，对所获取的信息进行分类整理，也对投诉信的写作框架有了更深刻的理解。

【设计意图】通过归纳整理投诉信的写作框架，帮助学生进一步了解此类信件的写作要求，为本课写作任务的顺利开展扫清障碍。

Step 4 Post-writing

【设计意图】通过范文赏析，引导学生归纳总结写作的好词好句。

3. Guide Ss to evaluate their writing according to the assessment table.

【设计意图】通过量化评价表，让学生在多层评价中进一步发现问题，为提高学生的写作能力起到积极的推动作用。
