Old Behrman was a painter. He was past 60 and earned a little mney by being a mdel. Sue fund Behrman and tld him what Jhnsy had said. Jhnsy was sleeping when they went upstairs. They lked ut f the windw at the ivy vine. A cld rain was falling.The next mrning, there std ne ivy leaf.“It’s the last ne,” said Jhnsy. “It’ll fall tday, and I’ll die.”At night, the wind began t blw.
