Task 1
Step 1 Warming-up
Get Ss to look at the pictures and talk about them, and then think about the question “Where have you been?”.

Step 2 Presentation
1. Get Ss to look at the pictures and think about the questions.
2. Get Ss to read the sentences aloud and learn “have/has been” and “have/has gone”.

Step 3 Practice
1. Get Ss to fill in the blanks with “have/has been” or “have/has gone”.
2. Get Ss to complete the sentences with “have/has been” or “have/has gone”.
3. Get Ss to complete the conversation with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.
