Step 1 Warming-up
Get Ss to look at the pictures and talk about the questions.

Step 2 Presentation
1. Get Ss to answer the questions according to the pictures and learn the usage of the simple past tense and the present perfect tense.
2. Get Ss to learn the differences between the simple past tense and the present perfect tense.
3. Get Ss to read the past tense and the past participles of irregular verbs.

Step 3 Practice
