【第一课时】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:能听得懂、会说、认读、会写新单词rabbit, pet, basket, hold;听得懂、会说、认读新单词cage, lovely.
2.句型:能初步运用“Can I have a…?”提出请求,并且能用“Yes, you can.”和“No, you can't.”回答.
(二)应用目标
1.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
2.能通过模拟购物活动,用“can/ can't”表达能/不能(做某事).
【教学重难点】
1.重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词kitten, pet, puppy, cage, basket, hold, lovely, expensive能听、说、读、写单词rabbit和shop.能用“Can I have …? ”/ “Can I hold it?”来请求他人同意.
2.难点:句子“Sure.”中,sure的读音有一定难度.要正确理解句子“You may have a cage for it.”的含义.
【教学准备】
复习单词用的图片如tiger, frog, duck, bird, flsh, hen, dog, cat, elephant等,新授单词用的图片,动物玩具或实物,单词卡片,课文录音,课本图片等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片多媒体课件).
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)

T: Now, I say, you act. Act like a cat/ dog/ bird/ monkey/ tiger/…
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.教师利用动物玩具、图片或单词卡片教授a rabbit, lovely, a pet, a pet shop
a cat a dog a rabbit

I love it. —> It's lovely. pets —> a pet shop
T: Look! This is a lovely animal. What is it? It's a cat/ dog/ rabbit.
教师板书并带读a rabbit.(操练可以采用个人、全班小组、男女生、分组、分行、大小声等多种形式)
T: I love the cat/ the dog/ the rabbit. I love it. It's lovely.
教师板书并带读“I love it. It's lovely.”引导学生从已学的单词love到新单词lovely的自主学习.
T: The cat is a pet, the dog is a pet, the rabbit is a pet. They're pets. They're lovely pets. Where can we buy the pets? We can buy the pets in a pet shop.
教师板书并带读a pet shop.(操练可以采用个人、全班、小组、男女生、分组、分行等多种形式)
2.教师利用动物玩具、实物或图片教授a basket, a cage.
The cat is in a basket. The dog is in a basket.
T: Where is the cat? It's in a basket. Where is the dog? It's in a baskct. 教师板书并带读a basket.
It's a cage. A bird is in a cage.
T: What's this? It's a cage. What's in a cage? A bird is in a cage. A rabbit is in a cage. A tiger is in a cage.
教师板书并带读a cage.
3.教师利用动物玩具教授hold.
T: Look! I have a lovely pet. I can hold it. Can you hold it? 鼓励学生边做动作,边说句子“I can hold it.”
4.词汇操练
(1)教师利用原声带的地道发音带读.
(2)每幅图配上单词或句子,教授新单词时要注意“词不离句”.
5.Dialogue
(1)Listen and choose
要求学生不打开书,听录音前,给出任务:回答下列选择题.
a.Dongdong can have a__________.
A dog B.cat C.rabbit
b.Dongdong can have_____________for his pet.
A.basket B.cage
(教师可以引导进行听前预测,听前的预测、推理和联想是提高学生听力水平的重要手段.)
(2)Listen and check
要求学生打开书,听录音,核对答案.
(3)Listen and repeat
学生听音,跟读.注意“sure”的发音,引导学生正确模仿语音和语调.
(4)学生分角色朗读.
(5)学生分角色为视频对话配音.
III. 趣味练习(Practice)
1.教师利用图片或动物玩具在黑板或讲台上布置一个模拟的宠物店.同时,教师用英语对宠物店中的小动物做简要介绍.
T: Look, this is my new pet shop. Welcome to my pet shop. Thert are many lovely pets. You can come here with your parents.
2.学生2-3人为一组,自编对话.
3.学生分组上台进行角色表演,教师要对学生的表演及时评价,给予肯定和鼓励.

例:S1: Can I have a rabbit?
S2: Yes, you can./ No, you can't.
S1: Can I have a basket?

【作业布置】
1.听录音,读对话,并试着表演对话.
2.你知道多少动物和它们幼崽的称呼?想一想,查一查,写一写,画一画,做成卡片.(教师可以根据学生的实际情况提系或不提示:学生用书后有)
