Unit4 SectionB(2a-2c)一.教学目标.知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:make,dirty, kitchen, more, noisy, relax, read, terrible, feel, strict, be strict with, remember, follow, follow the rules, luck 2) 能掌握以下句型:① Don’t leave the dirty dishes in the kitchen. ② I can’t relax, either. ③ I must read a book before I can watch TV. 能力目标:1. 学习谈论对生活中一些规定的看法。2. 阅读简短的句子或文章获取相关信息的能力。情感目标:能读懂一些英语的规则制度,能用英语表达和制定一些简单的规则,理解没有规矩不成方圆;无论是在学校时还是在家庭中以及以后走上社会都应当遵守规则,按规则办事,增强社会意识二.学情分析七年级的学生刚接触情态动词,对can't,must, have to等词的用法还不是很熟练。但是学生对这个单元的话题“rules”很熟悉。阅读内容跟学生息息相关,能引起学生共鸣,激发学生阅读兴趣。三.教学重难点教学重点1) 学习本课时出现的新词汇及表达方式。2) 通过阅读技巧,让学生们获取文中关键信息,理解文章大意。3) 通过进行阅读练习来进一步学习运用本课时的新语言知识。教学难点1) 阅读训练。2) 巩固must, have to,can/can’t的用法 四.教学过程Step 1 Warm up and revision (3’)1. Greet the Ss. 2. Show some pictures about signs, then review the rules, including school rules and family rules. Ss can talk about the rules.设计意图:检查复习,温故知新Step 2 Presentation(5’)呈现新知,将文段中涉及到的家规呈现出来,并巩固练习must, have to,can/can’t的用法Show some pictures on the big screen and let Ss learn the new words and expressions. Such as:make one’s bed ; leave sth.sw. ; relax ; read a book; be noisy; be strict with sb. T:Do you have to make your bed every Saturday morning?S1: Yes, I do.T:Does she have to make her bed every Saturday morning?S1: Yes, she does. She has to...设计意图:通过阅读前的重点短语学习,巩固练习重点句式的运用,降低阅读难度,为后面的阅读任务打下坚实的基础。Step 3 Practice Reading(10’)根据以上家规,引出阅读中主人公Molly,开始阅读任务,处理2a,2b, 2c.1. Work on 2a. (Pre-reading )T: I know you all have too many rules, Are you happy about them?Ss:No.T:Everybody may have something unhappy. When you are unhappy who do you like to talk to?S1: I like to talk to my aunt.S2: I like to talk to my best friend. S3: I like to talk to …T: OK. Do you know, when I’m unhappy I like to talk to Dr. Know? She’s great and she knows everything. She can give you the best advice. Now, let’s work on 2b to meet Dr. Know. Work on 2b.(While-reading )① Fast readingShow Molly’s picture on the big screen.T: There are many rules at Molly’s home and school. She feels unhappy. Let Ss read the letters quickly and answer the questions:How does Molly feel about the rules? What’s Dr. Know’s suggestion?Let one student read out his/her answer.(She thinks parents and schools are sometimes strict, but they make rules to help us. We have to follow them. )解决答案当中的知识点:feel terrible; follow the rules; remember② Careful reading1) Ss read the first letter and try to find the rules for Molly and underline them.2) Check the answers with the class.(Let some Ss read their answers aloud. ) 3)Present Molly’s rules:Molly has to ...She must...She can’t ...She can...老师给予适当的指导,使学生养成良好的阅读习惯。Step 4 Practice reading,2c(15’)3.Work on 2c. (Post-reading)1). Ss read the letters along with the tape.(朗读时注意语音语调)设计意图:有意识的提醒学生注意模仿录音中的语音语调,加强口语练习。2). Complete the sentences with have to/ must, can or can’t. 阅读指导:a) 首先,认真阅读2c中的这些句子,明白它们所谈论的相关规则。b)带着相关规则再去读2a中的信,在与之相关的内容处认真分析,理解规则的真正含义,并填上正确的词汇。c)再次阅读这些句子一遍,看是否通顺。设计意图:进行合理的阅读填词指导,提高学生阅读归纳能力。3). Check the answers. And at school I have to/must/can’t ... . I think ... , because ...特色说明&教学反思这节课内容丰富,阅读技巧贯穿其中,学生学习任务重,但本课话题容易引起学生共鸣,可以激发学生参与的欲望。另外,整堂课利用组组竞争机制,激发学生在课堂上积极发言积极思考,使课堂气氛更活跃,学习效率更高。
