★典例辅导(2022届江苏省扬州中学3月月考)It was a rugh week. The price f il skyrcketed as the temperature drpped sharply in Maine. We were lking at a high f eight degrees that week, and I had missed three days f wrk s my paycheck was ging t be lwer than nrmal. I was stressed, t say the least. I shpped strategically, lking fr every pssible way t cut pennies s I culd buy grceries and keep the huse warm.
My eight-year-ld sn didn’t understand when I tld him we were struggling that week. He wanted a special kind f yghurt, but I didn’t have the extra three dllars t buy it fr him. It was the kind f yghurt with a cartn kid riding a skatebard n the frnt f the bx, and a mere tw spnfuls in each cup. It was the kind f prduct that wastes a parent’s mney and makes me hate advertising.
I felt guilty as a parent when thse big eyes lked at me with cnfusin, as if t say, “It’s just yghurt. What’s the big deal?” S I fund a way. I put smething back as single mthers ften d. He gt his yghurt.
On the way driving back frm the grcery stre, I nticed a hmeless man hlding a sign by the side f the rad. My heart hurt, and I tried nt t lk at him. I watched peple stay away frm him n the street and walk by withut even meeting his eyes. My sn didn’t seem t care much, either. I lked at the man clsely then—bare hands grasping a piece f cardbard, snt(鼻涕) frzen t his face, a wrn-ut jacket. And there I was struggling because I had t buy il and grceries. But I decided t help. I pulled ver t the man and handed him a five-dllar bill.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;2.请按如下格式在相应位置作答。Seeing this, my sn became cnfused and surprised. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
On that day, my sn perfrmed an act that mst adults wuldn’t have dne. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
通过续写段落中所给出的首句“Seeing this, my sn became cnfused and surprised.”可知,续写的第一段主要讲述作者如何化解儿子的不理解;根据“On that day, my sn perfrmed an act that mst adults wuldn’t have dne.”可知,续写的第二段主要讲述作者的儿子那天高尚的行为。
    第三步:列提纲(重点词组)。be generus t…(对……大方);be mean t…(对……吝啬);be blind t…(对……视而不见);spare(挤出);be financially stressed(经济压力大);fix ne’s eyes n…(盯着……
Seeing this, my sn became cnfused and surprised. “Mum, why are s generus t this stranger while s mean t me when I asked fr a yghurt?” I explained that if we were blind t the pr man’s situatin he wuld be freezing. He didn’t have a hme r fd t eat after all. We culd spare five dllars even if we were financially stressed. Finally, my sn ndded and fixed his eyes n his yghurt.
On that day, my sn perfrmed an act that mst adults wuldn’t have dne. He tk his yghurt and handed it t the man utside his windw. Even if it was just a matter f a few spnfuls f yghurt, it was all he had, and he gave it t smene wh needed it mre than he wanted it. He shwed me that I am ding well as a mther. There are always blessings t cunt if we pen ur eyes, and always have the pprtunity t be a blessing fr smene else.

I felt relieved and cntent as a mther, seeing David play happily utside, with the scarf sheltering him t brave the bne-chilling wind. Wearing a smile n my face, I cntinued my chres that mrning.
Later that day David came back saying Jane als deserved a scarf. Obviusly, David nticed Jane culd hardly bear the freezing weather with wrn-ut clthes. “Can I give this t Jane as a Christmas gift?” David ventured in a lw vice. Smilingly, I ndded. Seeing David rush int Jane’s huse with the scarf in his hand, I felt burst f pride. I was happy that bth f them received the best gift fr Christmas. Fr Jane — a scarf t keep warm, and fr David — a taste f happiness f giving.
