一．不定冠词a与an
1. 不定冠词a与an的用法
1）泛指人或事物的某一种类
2）表示数量“一”，但数量概念比one弱
3）用在首次提到的可数名词单数前
4）用在比较级前，修饰其后的名词
5）用在序数词前，表示“又一，再一”
6）用在表示时间、速度、价格等含义的名词前，表示“每一”
7）用在专有名词前，相当于a certain,表示“某个”
8）用在抽象名词前，表示“具体的人或事”
9）用在视为一体的两个名词前

2.不定冠词a与an的区别
a：用在以辅音音素开头的字母或单词前，而不是辅音字母前
an：用在以元音音素开头的字母或单词前，而不是元音字母前
二．定冠词the
1.定冠词the的用法
1）特指双方都知道或上文提及过的人或事
2）用在表示演奏的乐器名词前
3）用在名词、形容词或过去分词前，指一类人或事物
4）用在序数词、比较级和最高级前
5）用在独一无二的事物前
6）用在姓氏复数前，表示“一家人”或“夫妻俩”
7）用在表示时期、年代、世纪的名词或数词前或表示具体的地点、方位的名词前
8）用在普通名词构成的专有名词前
9）用在以Festival结尾的节日或被其他限定词修饰的月份、季节前

（2）不定冠词和定冠词的用法区别
①首次提到用a/an,再次提到用the:虽是首次提到，但双方都知道，须用the
②当独一无二的事物前有形容词修饰时，用不定冠词a/an
如：When we can see the whole moon,it is called a full moon.
当我们能看到整个月亮时，我们称之为满月。
③“a/an+序数词或比较级”与“the+序数词或比较级”，意义不同
如：It is the most important transportation pot. 这是最重要的交通枢纽。
It is a most important transportation pot. 这是一个非常重要的交通枢纽。
三．零冠词
1.零冠词的用法
1）用在一般情况下的专有名词或不可数名词前
2）名词前已有名词所有格或代词my/some/any/every/each/this/that/these. . . 做定语
3）用在星期、月份、季节、以Day 结尾的节日等名词前
4）用在学科、语言、三餐、球类运动或棋类名词前
5）用在“by+交通工具”结构中
6）用在称呼语、头衔和职位等名词前
7）用在表示一类人或事的可数名词复数前

四．有无冠词的差别
1.不定冠词与零冠词
in a word总之，简言之 in word 口头上
in a hospital在医院（泛指） in hospital 生病住院
with a child 带着孩子 with child 怀孕
2.定冠词与零冠词
by the sea 在海边 by sea 乘船
go to the bed 去床边 go to bed 睡觉
at the table 在桌子旁 at table 进餐
go to the school 到学校去 go to school 去上学
the next year 在第二年 next year明年
in the front of. . . 在 . . . (内部的）前 in front of. . . 在 . . . (外部的）前
on the earth 在地球上 on earth 究竟
out of the question 不可能 out of question 毫无疑问
take the place of 取代 take place 发生
