本课时学习“变化”的相关阅读。教学时由对比两幅人物变化的图片导入新课；采用三步阅读法（fast reading, careful reading和post reading）引导学生逐步理解课文；单元语法教学先让学生完成句子，感知体验所学语法结构，然后归纳总结，提高学生观察问题、分析问题的能力；然后通过练习加以巩固。

通过本课时的学习，让学生达成以下目标：

2.能力目标
能够谈论他人性格等方面的今昔对比。
3.情感目标
让学生勇敢地面对生活,不害怕挑战,充分相信自己,最后实现理想。
