设计说明 本课时学习关于世界未解之谜之一——英国巨石阵的阅读理解。在学习新课前先复习连词的用法;然后通过一副巨石阵的图片,让学生带着任务去有效地阅读文本,进入对课文的学习,通过对不同任务的阅读体验,让学生理解文本内容。最后通过对其他世界未解之谜的讨论,进行知识迁移。 教学目标 通过本课时的学习,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标: (1) 单词:express, circle, Britain, mystery, receive, historian, temple, leader, midsummer, medical, purpose, prevent, energy, position, burial, honor, ancestor, victory, enemy, period, Stonehenge (2) 短语:at the same time, communicate with, point out, in a certain way, stop/prevent/keep sb. from doing sth. (3) 句子:①People like to go to this place especially in June as they want to see the sun rising on the longest day of the year. ②Some think it might be a burial place or a place to honor ancestors.
