Well-known Chinese writer, translator (翻译家) and foreign literature researcher (外国文学研究家) Yang Jiang passed away at the age of 105 on May 25, 2016. But five years later, many people still remember her and they are showing their sadness and respect (尊敬) by posting Yang’s photos and words on the Internet.
Why is Yang still popular with people today? It’s mainly for her achievement to translation and writing and her attitude to life.
Having studied in the UK and France, Yang was good at English and French.
