能够抄写、选择或根据拼读规则补全单词:should, shouldn’t.
2.能力目标:在完成知识目标的基础上,通过游戏和活动的开展,培养学生的合作能力、竞争意识和综合运用语言知识的能力。因为是高年级对话教学在本课中还涉及到交际口语,比如当犯错时道歉:Sorry, mum;提供帮助与表示感谢的常用语言:“We’ll help you.”“Thanks.”等。
3.情感目标:通过should 和shouldn't 的学习,帮助学习明确生活中的文明和不文明行为,对学生进行公民养成教育,并鼓励学生做力所能及的事,养成互帮互助的好习惯。
4.策略目标:通过课前预习、课上互动、课下交流反思,老师和学生互敬互学,师生关系十分融洽。
5.语言运用目标:通过这节课的学习,预知学生85%的学生可以达到熟练运用并能自如拓展,10%学生仅仅可以熟练操作句子,5%学生需要采取课后单独的巩固练习与小检测来训练。
【学习重难点】
重点:学生能够用“should,shouldn’t”来谈论应当做某事和不应当做某事。
难点:学生能够流利地使用正确时态来描述,能够描述日常生活中的活动。
【学习过程】
Step 1: Warm up
1. Greeting
2.Play a game:“I say, you do! ”
此处迅速说出一串以前学过的容易做动作并且能在本节课中用到的短语,如:wash your hands, wash your face, brush your teeth, walk on the grass, run fast…当然,为了更容易进入游戏环节,也会加一些较简单的短语,如:stand up, sit down, sit well等。这里将原来老师做动作孩子们说的设计反过来,更能调动课堂气氛,增加孩子们学英语的兴趣。
Step 2: Lead-in
T:What a happy game! I’m very happy now. Are you happy?
Ss: Yes.
T: We are all happy. But Ms Smart is angry. Do you know why? Let’s listen!
Listen to the radio together.
Step 3: Text Study
1. T: OK. Let’s look at the picture. It’s the first picture. Oh, Ms Smart is so angry. Why?
Two questions for you!
(1) Why Ms Smart is angry with Tom?
(2) What shouldn’t Tom do?
Listen again. Then let students answer the questions。
然后将本节课的重点句型You should…
You shouldn’t…
写在黑板上。同时通过孩子们的回答:Tom is making a mess.\Tom shouldn’t play with the CDs.\Tom shouldn’t take the books off the shelves.在此教授单词mess, make a mess, shelves和短语take … off. 并在一边板书。 通过领读,学生读与猜意思等多种方式进行学习。
2. Look at the second picture. One question for you: What should Tom do?
Let’s listen.
A student answers the question. And teacher asks another question: S1, look at the picture, can you guess who will help Tom.
S1; Lingling.
T: Only Lingling?
S1; oh, Amy and Lingling.
T: Do you agree? Yes or no?
Ss: Yes.

3. Look at the last picture.”How about the room now?” .Let’s listen.
S1: The room is tidy now.
S2: The room is tidy now.
T: Yes. Here,” tidy” means “clean”. Oh, Ms Smart says to Tom ‘What a good boy!’”, then what does Ms Smart say to the girls?”
S1: Thanks for your help.
T: Yes.Thanks for your help.
走到学生中间直接交流帮互助学生理解"thanks for“,如:”1.Where’s my pen? Can I borrow your pen? 学生将笔递给我,我说:Thanks for your pen.2.Where’s my book? Can I borrow your book?学生将书递给我,I say:Thanks for your book.3.I throw the book away, I say: Oh, my book! It’s so far. I can’t touch it. Can you help me?
学生帮我捡回书,I say: Thanks for your help!
T: When other students help us, we should say; Thanks for your help. We are friends, so I want to tell you a truth,展示PPT,let's read together.”
Ss: We are friends. We should help each other.”齐读两遍。
4. Listen and repeat.
5. Read the text in roles.
(1)四排学生,四个角色,分角色齐读一遍。
(2)Groupwork.小组内四人分角色朗读课文,准备两分钟,老师随堂指导。
然后每排选取一个小组进行朗诵展示,并由学生评价给每组学生加星。
6.Show a play.
T: I think text is so interesting. Let’s show a play.
Step 4:Can you remember?
①Tom, you play with the CDs.

③You tidy your toys.
选取课文中带有should,shouldn't的句子,进行填空练习。
机械操练这几个句子,可以通过齐读,小组读,个人读相互结合的方式进行。
Step 5: Match!
展示一幅图书馆的图片,
T:When we are in a library, you should… you shouldn’t…Let’s have a match.
快速展示一些短语,让孩子们抢答,孩子们起来回答必须说出完整的句子,孩子说出句子之后,再由PPT展示进行齐读,短语为:run fast, play with your friends. eat fruits, be quiet, speak loudly.
Step 6: Talk Show
T: OK, it’s our talk show time.
三个场景;When an old man crosses the road, you should…
When you are in the museum, you shouldn’t…
Before you go to bed, you should….
场景都有图片展示,并且给予一定的提示,孩子们发言积极,给出了许多建议,正确使用了should,shouldn't,并且自己进行了拓展,让我很惊喜。另外,孩子们给出建议之后,再展示孩子们的建议,大家齐读。再次评价加星。
Step 7: In the zoo(对话练习)
1. T:Do you like the animals?
Ss: Yes.
T: Me, too.Today, Linda, Lucy and Jack, they are going to go to the zoo. What are they talking? Let’s look at your paper.
此处为学生准备了对话练习纸,首先让学生们用一分钟的时间完成对话练习中的填空题,然后给孩子们三分钟的准备时间,小组合作分角色朗读对话,最后选取四组学生展示对话。
Jack: Hello!
Linda and Lucy: Hi.
Jack: What are we ___________ to do?
Lucy: We’re ___________to go to the zoo.
Jack: Great! I want ___________ go, too.
Linda: OK. Let’s ___________.
