Lesson 9: Open and Close

【教学目标】

（一）知识与技能目标：1. 能认读并书写字母Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn,了解它们在单词中的发音。

2. 能听懂、会说并认读词汇：window

3. 能理解open 和close的概念，并能对指令Open the _____.Close the_____. 做出反应。

（二）情感目标：  1. 乐于模仿，敢于开口。

                2. 能体会到学习英语的乐趣。

（三）学习策略目标：注意倾听，积极思考。

【教学重点】 1. 能认读并书写字母Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn,了解它们在单词中的发音。

2. 能对指令Open the _____.Close the_____. 做出反应。

【教学难点】 Ll 的发音及Mm的笔顺。

【教学过程】

I. Warm up

Greetings:

Hello, boys and girls. Good morning.

Review: 1. What letter is this?

       2. Ask and answer:

For example: T: Bb

           S: book, or boy.

       3. sing the ABC song.

II. New Concept

   1. Letters

Watch the video, introduce the letters Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn,

Teach them to write the letters，especially “M”.

Teach the sound of each letters.

Kk: kite, key

Ll: lake, look, letter, like

(teach them how to make the /l/ sound, then practice more)

Mm: mouth, many, meet, my

Nn: nose, no, name, nine, nice, number

   2. Open and Close

    Look at the video, what do Jenny and Danny do?

    Teacher does the actions, say the phrases: open/close the door/window.

 What do I do?

    Introduce the two words: open and close, door and window.

    T: Let’s do and say together.

III. Practice

   1.What letter is this?

   2. Let’s do it! (Page 22)

   3. Find the neighbors:  ____ B_____,   ____ f _____, L ___ ____,

                      ____ h ____,  D ___ ____, ____  ____ l.

   4. Let’s do it! (Page 23)

IV. Production

   1. pair work:

      What’s this? It’s a door/window.

      How many doors/windows?

      Point to/ Show me a ______.

      Is this a ______?

2. Make a story with the letters and the two phrases.

(They can use Chinese when they need.)

V. Homework

  1. What do we learn from this lesson?

  2. Do you have any questions?

  3. Homework:  Write the letters.

  Write the four phrases on page 23.
