一、教学目标
1. 词汇:
meeting, miss, shut, lock, simple, anybody, ring, text, couple, text message, a couple of
2. 句型:
(1) I’m sorry...

(3) I can look after myself, although it won’t be easy for me.
(4) There won’t be anybody to wake you up in the morning.
(5) My clock rings so loudly that it will certainly wake me up.
3. 能够听懂有关独自在家生活各种事项的对话,并能从中提取信息。
4. 能够讲述自己独自在家生活的规划并询问他人的相关情况。
5. 能够正确进行句子中词语的连读。
6. 通过了解同学独自在家生活的状况,加强同学间的交流,增进同学间的友谊;培养和锻炼学生独自生活的能力。

重点:
1. 能够听懂有关独自在家生活各种事项的对话,并能从中提取信息。
2. 能够正确读出句子中词语的连读。

Step 1 Warming-up
Have Ss talk about the question about home alone.
【设计意图】通过自由讨论和结对对话,展开学生喜欢的话题,调动学生参与的积极性,同时引入本课时话题。
Step 2 Pre-listening
Learn some new words and phrases.
【设计意图】学习新词汇,为下面的听力活动做准备。

4. Listen again and complete the sentences.
Step 3 While-listening
1. Listen to the dialogue and complete the table.
2. Listen again and complete the sentences.
【设计意图】通过多种不同形式的听力活动,帮助学生加深对听力材料的理解,同时训练听力技能。
Step 4 Post-listening
1. Listen and read the conversation
2. Fill in the blanks according to the dialogue.
3. Learn some language points.
(1) So am I, but I can’t miss two weeks of school.
“So + be/助动词 + 主语”这一结构表示自己与前一个人的情况相同或同意一个人的说法, 意思是“……也这样”。
(2) Your train is about to leave.
be about to do sth. 表示“就要/正要……”。
(3) See you in a couple of weeks!
couple n. 表示“一对;两个”,常用于固定短语a couple of,表示“两个”。
4. Choose the correct answer and read the correct sentences.
5. Complete the sentences about Everyday English.
6. Learn the skills of pronunciation.
7. Listen and mark the words which the speaker will link.
8. Listen again and repeat.
【设计意图】通过听读活动练习及知识讲解,全面理解对话;掌握句子连读技巧,学会运用正确的语音语调读句子。
8. Work in pairs. Imagine they are staying at home by themselves. Ask and answer.

9. Do some exercises to consolidate what they have learned.
