I．语言点精讲

1.The piece had a simple name, Erquan Yingyue (Moon Reflected on Second Spring), but it was one of the most moving pieces of music that I've ever heard. 那首乐曲有一个简单的名字，《二泉映月》，但它是我曾经听过的最感人的乐曲之一。

在本句中，that引导的是定语从句，“pieces of music”为先行词，先行词有形容词的最高级修饰，所以关系代词只能使用that。

2.Even after Abing got married and had a home again.

get married 强调动作，不可与表示一段时间的状语连用。

get married to sb.  和某人结婚

married  已婚的；结婚的

例：露西和彼得上周结婚了。Lucy and peter got married last week.  

marry 动词，结婚，表示动作，不能与表示一段时间的状语连用。

例：她上个月嫁给了一名警察。 

She married a policeman last month.    

【注意】

 1. 表示“与某人结婚”，常用marry sb.或get  married to sb.，而不能用marry with sb.。

 2.表示已婚的状态，用 be married，可以与表示一段时间的状语连用。

 例：她已经结婚五年了。 She has been married for five years.

3.It is a pity that only six pieces of music in total were recorded for the future world to hear.

 It is a pity… 意为“……真是遗憾”，it 在句子中做形式主语，后面由that 引导的从句是真正的主语，这类句子结构可以避免头重脚轻的情况。句子结构：It +be+名词（词组）+that从句。

常用于这种结构的名词（词组）有：

a pity（遗憾），a shame（耻辱），a good idea（好消息），a fact（事实），a wonder（奇迹），no wonder（难怪）。

It is a pity (that)…很遗憾

It’s a pity that you will leave.

It is a pity to do…做某事真可惜

It’s a pity to waste this food.

What a pity!真可惜！

4. …makes people recall their deepest wounds from their own sad or painful experiences.

wound  n.  伤口，创伤

e.g. He has a wound in the arm.

wounded adj. 受伤的

wound  v.  使（身体）受伤；伤害

e.g. Two soldiers were wounded in the attack. 在这次袭击中，有两名士兵受伤。

You must not wound her feelings. 你不可以伤害她的感情。

5. …all the great erhu masters play and praise. 

praise  n. 赞扬，表扬

praise sb./sth. for (doing) sth. 

e.g.He won praises for his modesty.他以自己的谦虚赢得别人的赞扬    

praise  v.  赞扬，表扬 

The teacher praised her many times because of her kindness. 因为她的善良，老师表扬了她很多次。
