    Unit 9 My favorite subject is science. Section A(1a-2c) 教学设计一、教材分析 本单元是主要围绕“School subjects”话题展开讨论,选材于学生的日常生活,十分符合学生实际。通过 Listening感知语言,旨在让学生能够流畅自如的运用本节课语言结构表达自己的喜好。本节课的主要任务是通过听说练习,掌握主要的听力技巧,养成良好的听说习惯。能够让学生了解并学会运用英语询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,并学会用 fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing 等形容词来表达自己喜欢某个学科的原因。能够运用特殊疑问句“What 's your favorite subjectWhy do you like...?”等句型来进行口语交际,通过讨论学习,提高学生的学习兴趣,养成良好的学习和生活习惯,进行合理的学习安排。二、学情分析六年级的学生从小学三年级开始接触英语,因此具备一定的语言学习基础,表达欲望比较强。但他们性格不稳定,既爱表现,想获得老师的表扬,又容易注意力分散,容易放弃。学生各方面能力还没有达到均衡的发展,尤其是在听和说这两方面比较薄弱,本节课内容非常贴近学生的生活,深受学生喜爱,所以在教学中我结合学生的具体情况设置了不同层次的听说任务,适当地引导学生正确地进行听说练习以及用英语表达自己的观点,进一步提高学生的综合语言运用能力。三、教学目标1.语言能力: Students can master the key words and sentence patterns. P.E., art, science, math, Chinese, geography, history, subject, favorite...-What’s your/her/his favorite...? -My/Her/His favorite... -Why do you/does she/does he like it? -Because it’s...2.学习能力: Students’ listening and speaking abilities can be improved; Students are able to talk about preferences freely by using the key sentence patterns.3.思维品质: According to the pictures and videos, students are able to card and generalize information to express their views.4.文化意识:From Eileen Gu and other famous people’s accomplishments, tell students to become more physically active and energetic, keep moving forward. And then realize that different people have different preferences, we should respect them.四、教学重点1.To be able to talk about the favorite subjects with the new words and sentence patterns.2.To be able to give reasons by using the description words.五、教学难点1.Let students try to summarize the listening tips.2.To know more about their friends’ favorite things and be able to talk about them.六、教学方法情景教学法、启发式教学法、任务型教学法。七、教学过程
    I. Warm-up1.Show the rules of the match.设计意图:4组展开比赛更能激发学生的学习兴趣和积极性,并为接下来的英语学习搭建起竞赛的平台,有利于培养学生的团队精神和竞争意识。2.Free talk Truthor LieIt’s raining outside.If you did a good job in my class, I will buy a big dinner for you. I'm more beautiful than your other teachers. Our school is the best one in our city. You didn’t do your homework yesterday.通过谈论作业是否完成,呈现学生的作业完成度,对学生的预习性作业进行点拨指导。设计意图:教师通过 Free talk拉近与学生距离,在轻松愉悦的氛围中开始一节新课,让学生通过磨耳朵熟悉教师课堂用语,同时利用翼课网平台对预习性作业进行分析、梳理,并针对作业问题进行整体和个别化指导。3.Lead-inBrainstorm环节,给学生 10秒钟时间尽可能多的识记单词,并引导学生通过区分词性找出识记的规律方法,并把本课的重点单词边读边写到导学案中,培养学生听、说、读、写的能力与素养,提高英语学习能力和效率。设计意图:通过单词呈现,让学生快速了解本节课重点词汇,加深印象,为后面学习做铺垫。4.PracticeI’ll ask two students on behalf of their groups to choose the adjectives.设计意图:通过希沃白板中的课堂活动,调动学生积极性,考查学生对形容词等词性的区分,高效学习。II. Presentation:学生活动 Section A的主要内容是学习询问和谈论所喜欢的学科询问并给出理由的语言结构。在导入新课时,我采取视听导入法和提问式导入法。Step1.To talk about subjects and share personal preferences on subject with the key words. Pay attention to the pronunciation of the new words.设计意图:出示不同学科的教科书或封面图画来播放课件,创设具体问题情境  -What subjects do you have at school再询问学生: What’s your favorite subject? 引导学生运用不同学科的英文单词作出回答,从而引出本部分的重点目标语言结构。通过希沃白板课堂活动进一步对词汇进行巩固提升。Step2.Before listening播放听力之前我会先引导学生仔细观察图片,提炼关键信息,学习听前预测。To practice the listening skills: Reading pictures is very important for your listening.设计意图:听前先细致观察图片,预测题目大意,对学生进行听力技巧的点拨。Step3.While listening1.   Finish the task1 on the pad.(听说跟读,翼课堂一键批阅,呈现优秀学生作品。)Remember to put on your microphone and speak into the microphone. Pay attention to your pronunciation. Let’s try to find out the best one and show her/his works.
     We need to learn from them.Frank: Hi, How’s your day?Bob: It’s OK. I like Monday because I have P.E. and history. They’re my favorite subjects.Frank: Who’s your PE teacher?Bob:Mr.Hu. He always plays games with us.Frank: That’s great! But why do you like history? It’s boring.Bob: Oh, I think history is interesting. What’s your favorite day?Frank: Friday.Bob: Why?Frank: Because the next day is Saturday!Bob: Ha ha! That’s for sure. I like Friday,too.2.Listen to the task2 on the pad and fill in the blanks.While listeningstudents are supposed to listen for the key words.Listen and correct students’ answers. Show instructions and guide students try   to summarize the listening tips.听前:认真审题,看问题和选项,预测话题。听中:找关键词,做好记录。听后:检查单词拼写及时态等细节。设计意图:信息化教学已经走进我们的课堂,信息技术正在逐渐改变我们的教学模式。在 pad上进行听力练习,task1跟读并模仿语音语调。听取优秀同学的作品,找出自身不足并加以改正。Task2传授听力技巧,听力过程中注意捕捉关键词:疑问词和学科名称等。理论联系实际,讲练结合,提高课堂效率。听力学生可默默跟读并进行复述,极大地提高学生的口语表达能力。一键批阅,体会互联网课堂的精彩,提高教学的针对性和课堂效率。Step4.Post listeningComplete the sentences and tell students to pay attention to the capital and small letters.1. 我们星期六去书店吧。       Let's go to the bookstore _____ ________.2. -你为什么喜欢历史?       -因为它很有趣。       - ____ do you like_______?       - Because it’s__________.3. 妈妈不喜欢星期一,因为那天她很忙。       Mom doesn't like _______ ________ she's busy on that day.4. 汤姆最喜欢的科目是语文。       Tom's _______ _______ is ________.设计意图:听后练习补充完成句子,让学生了解句子结构注意单词大小写并进行练习,了解学生对知识的掌握程度。Step5.Practice the conversation with your partner.Show a picture of Hua Luogeng, Li Siguang, Langlang and Mo Yan. Introduce  the famous people in every area to know about “What’s his/her favorite subject? ” .Think and use more description words to guess the reasons.设计意图:在前面语言输入的基础上,通过图片展示各个领域的杰出人物,优秀榜样的力量对学生文化品格的形成至关重要,引导学生准确理解、掌握本课主题,形成正确的价值观念和文化品格,学生在谈论的同时,也真正地进行了语言输出,多说、多练方能提高自己说的技能,使学习目标逐步达成。Step6.Group work I'm the best reporter! Make a conversation about their group  members’ favorite subject. Let every group choose the topic(red pockets) to practice  the sentence patterns. Some groups will be invited to show their results. The best group can get extra points.-What's your favorite...-My favorite...-Why do you like him/her/it?-Because it’s...设计意图:通过采访环节让学生在小组中讨论各自的喜好,并运用所学词汇给出理由。让学生在良好的英语情境中不断思考,不断发散英语思维,科学培养语言能力。小组竞争合作能够发挥集体智慧,取长补短,提高学习竞争意识。Step7. Enjoy the video and sharing some proverbs. Watch the video and try to  find Eileen Gu’s favorite things. As peers, students think and share their opinions  about Eileen Gu. What’s more, the teacher will give students some instructions. If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. But whatever you doyou have to keep moving forward. Keep a love going to the mountains and sea.设计意图:通过对谷爱凌视频的播放,构建跨文化教育情境启发学生以积极的心态面对生活中的困难,对于自己热爱的事情要全力以赴,激发学生的学习热情,实现情感上的升华。III. Summary. Inspire students to think what they have learnt in today’s class and  the teacher will give supplement timely. Students are encouraged to use the words and  expressions learned in this class. Let’s see which group is the best and clap for them.设计意图:教师启发引导学生归纳总结,并适当补充,使学生细加体会本节课内容。同时明确哪个组是获胜小组,让学生体会到学习的成就感,促使学生在今后的课堂表现中更加积极踊跃。IV. Homework.A; You must:  Review the key words and the sentence patterns like “ science geography, favorite, subject. What’s your favorite subject? Why do you like...?B: You can: Practice on listening and speaking from working sheet. C: If you can: Make a survey about your classmates’ favorite things and complete the chart with activities. 设计意图:针对学生的学情,分层次布置作业,体现异步教学,因材施教。A部分为本节课基础知识;B部分目的为充分利用学案,练习本节课听说知识,提高学生的口语交际能力为进一步学习做铺垫;C部分加强学科与生活之间的联系,鼓励学生多多参与社会实践,拓展学生的思维,深化学习目标的达成。板书设计 Unit 9 My favorite subject is science.Section A (1a-2c)-What's your / his / her favorite subject?-My / His / Her favorite subject is ...-Why do you/does he like math? -Because it's interesting.G1    G2    G3      G4
