    They wanted t reduce the amunt f traffic and pllutin in the city centre.
    They painted hundreds f white bikes and left them arund the city centre fr peple t use.
    Within a matter f weeks, the bikes had all been stlen and the prject came t an end.
    Because they believed that it wuld help t save energy, reduce pllutin and prvide free public transprt.
    Bike-sharing is becming mre and mre ppular in cities arund the wrld, including Chinese cities.
    “White bikes” returned t Amsterdam.
