    Cultivate students' awareness of problems caused by urban population agglomeration.

    Students can describe the graph about the population.

    教学过程

    1.Lead-in

    ①Teacher asks students to talk about the problems of big cities according to the pictures.

    Ask students to say their opinions.

    2.Presentation

    Task 1 Grammar

    Teachers asks some students to summarize the grammar in this module.

    Teacher reviews and consolidates the grammar in this module.

    Task 2 Exercises

    ①Ask students to match the countries with their populations.

    ②Ask students to read the chart and answer the questions.

    Ask students to complete the passage with a, an or the where necessary.

    Organize the students to check the answers in the whole class.

    Ask students to complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in the box.

    Ask students to complete the diagram showing population problems.

    This lesson type is revision and application. According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard, it mainly adopts task-based interactive teaching to open students' thinking. Through a series of organized teaching activities, it guides students to independently explore learning and interact with others in cooperative learning, so that students can experience pleasant learning.
