一、基数词
一、英文数字写法的规律:
1. 基数词的表达
1) one到twelve, 拼写和读音无规律可言, 只能逐一记忆。
2) thirteen到nineteen,表示“十几”,在个位数后加后缀-teen,其中要注意thirteen,fifteen, eighteen的拼写。
3) twenty到ninety,表示“几十”,以ty结尾,但需注意twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty的拼写。
4) 21~29 直到91~99,表示“几十几”,用整十位数加个位表示, 中间用连字符“-” 把十位和个位连接起来twenty-five, twenty-nine, thirty-three。
one hundred 意为 “一百”,也可说a hundred,hundred可加具体数字,如nine hundred (900)。
二、基数词的用法:
基数词只能修饰可数名词,要注意数词和名词在数上要保持一致。
如:one student 一名学生 two boys 两名男孩
twenty apples 二十个苹果 thirty-three eggs 三十三个鸡蛋
总结:读一读数字的记忆规律(组内成员大声齐读)。
英语数词不难记,找出规律就容易。零至十二样各异,一个一个单独记,后加teen变十几,thirteen, fifteen看仔细,eight原本就有t。几十后面加ty,twenty不同重点记,forty去掉字母u,thirty, fifty更出奇。若要表示几十几,连字符号记清楚。更多表示几百几,and来把百、十系。
