K: On my way hme frm wrk yesterday, I stpped ff at a lcal supermarket. Amng ther things, I wanted t buy a cuple f ccnuts. When I picked them up, I was amazed that each ccnut was wrapped in clear, thin plastic. Isn’t this the mst stupid example f packaging ever?
A: Yu’ve picked an unusual example f packaging, but there is a reasn fr this. Supermarkets want t make sure that ccnuts reach the cnsumer in the best cnditin. The packaging helps t keep the prduct fresh; it means the prduct will last lnger.
