【注意】part前通常不用冠词, 但若有active修饰,则要有an,意为“积极参加”。
【拓展】join & join in的区别
(1)join:指加入某个党派, 团体组织等,并成为其中一员。和某人一起做某事,其结构为:join sb.in (doing) sth.
如:My brother joined the army last year.我哥哥去年参军了。
Will you join me in buying a present for her? 和我一起去给她买份礼物好吗?
(2)join in多指参加小规模的活动,如球赛、游戏等,常用于日常口语中。
如:May I join in the game? 我可以参加这个游戏吗?
2.too…to意为“太……而不能”。
如:He’s too old to walk.他太老了不能走路。
too…to 结构与 enough…to…结构及 so…that…结构的相互转换:too…to转换为 enough…to…时,enough前的形容词或副词原形应是too前面形容词或副词的反义词,且 enough…to…句式须用否定式;too…to…结构转换为so…that…结构时,so的后面接形容词或副词的原级,that的后面接从句,且that后面的从句要用否定形式。
如:The boy is too young to go to school. =The boy is not old enough to go to school. =The boy is so young that he couldn’t go to school.这个男孩太小了,不能去上学。
