一、教学内容
Lesson 23 Just talk
二、教学目标
1.言语技能目标
本部分Gao Wei 向Amy 写了一封电子邮件,介绍自己及父母的一些情况,包括姓名、年龄、班级、职业等,并询问了对方有关这方面的情况。Amy给Gao Wei回了一封电子邮件,对所询问的问题做了回答。
2.语言知识目标
①.能够正确地听、说、认读单词restaurant , company ,library .
②.能够正确地听、说、认读的句子:
How many people are there in your family ?
----There are six people in my family .
What do your parents do ?
----My mother is a teacher in a school .
----My father is a manager in a big company .
Where do they work ?
---- My father works in the City Library .
---- My mother works in a small restaurant .
③.在适当的情景中正确地听、说、读、写下面的句子:
What do you parents do ?
----My mother is a teacher in a school .
----My father is a manger in a big company .
3.情感态度目标
进一步提高对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。能积极主动地参与课堂活动,在情景对话中大胆开口,主动模仿。
三、教学重难点
重点①.能够正确地听、说、认读单词restaurant , company ,library .
②.在适当的情景中正确地听、说、认读下面的句子:
What do you parents do ?
----My mother is a teacher in a school .
----My father is a manger in a big company .
难点是学生在听力中能够浏览找出关键词,抓听重点。
四、教学准备
①教师准备多媒体课件、录音机、磁带、单词卡片。
②自制具有manager , teacher , pulil 等职业特征的头饰。
③学生准备家庭成员和朋友的照片。
④准备一些能体现职业特征及工作地点的图片
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up 热身活动
Revision 。
(1) 头脑风暴 : Look and say
课件滚动出现学过的职业类词汇和职业场所的词汇 ,学生抢答。
(2) Free talk
教师和学生一起回顾本单元前4课所学的句型,围绕jobs 进行回答。
What does your father work ? He is a reporter .[来源:Zxxk.Com]
Where does your father work ? He works at CCTV.
Step 2: Presentation 新知呈现.
呈现情景 。
1) 教师拿出自己的全家福,向学生介绍。教师可以这样介绍:
Look ,this is a picture of my family . they are my parents .My father is a manager .He works in a big company . My mother is a waiter ,She works in a small restaurant . This is my sister ,She works in the City Library , They love us very much ,We have a happy family .
教师通过这段自我介绍,引出新知单词restaurant , company , library ,在叙事时注意强调工作地点,并辅以适当动作,帮助学生理解。也通过图片让学生明白其其单词含义,教师教读新单词。之后教师在出示句型一问一答,加深学生对单词的理解。
2) 教师将家人照片贴到相应的工作地点图上,边贴边与学生作问答。
T : They are my parents . What do they do ?
S : Your father is a manager , Your mother is a waiter .
T : They are my parents . Where do they work ?
S : Your father works in a big company , Your mother works in a small restaurant .
3)教师展示本课的教学挂图,说明这是Gao Wei 给Amy 发了一封电子邮件,
教师播放录音,目的是让学生大概了解会话情景及会话的主要内容。请学生认真听一听 ,回答下列问题 。
Questions ;
a. Where does Gao Wei come from ?
b. How old is Gao Wei ?
c. How many people are there in Gao Wei’s family ?
(录音可根据需要,反复多发几遍)
4)学生通过小组讨论得出答案 ,以一问一答形式进行汇报。教师出示文本,
5)出示文本,学生通读大意。
7)提出二级(更深层次的)问题:
①What are his parents’ jobs ?
②Where are they work?
③What does Gao Wei want to know about Amy ?
Listen to the tape and try to find the answer.
7)再次播放录音,让学生有目的地去听,听后回答问题。a. Where does Amy come from ?
b. How old is Amy ?
c. How many people are there in Amy’s family ?
d. What are her parents’ jobs ?
e . Where are they work?
9)教师核对答案,再次播放录音,整体感知对话内容,学生可—边听一边跟读。
10)教师呈现分别Just Talk 的2段文本内容,,教师对课文重点单词及句子进行标注讲解,同桌互读。
着重讲解语言目标:How many people are there in your family ? 你家里有几口人?
What do your parents do ? 你父母是做什么的?
Where do your parents work? 你父母在哪里工作?
Step 3: Practice 趣味操练.
1..Let’s voice 让我们配音.
再次播放视频,将声音音量放低,学生进行配音活动。
2..Situaitional dialogue,情景对话练习。Gao Wei 和Amy .
将课文改写成对话,一问一答进行操练
3游戏:利用新句型询问同学家人的职业和工作场所,以班上学生为原型,用开火车的方式,操练句型。
Eg:
S1: What do you parents do ?
S2: ----My mother is a teacher in a school .
----My father is a manger in a big company .
S1: Where do they work ?
S2: ---- My father works in the City Library .
---- My mother works in a small restaurant .
………
Step 4: Additional activities拓展活动。
给自己的笔友或远方亲人写一封电子邮件,介绍自己和家人情况。
六、作业布置
1.把今天所学的课文读给家长听。
2.询问同学家人的职业。
3.完成活动手册相关内容。
