    直接引语和间接引语
    [自主感知]

    [自我发现]
    1.英语中常用两种方式引用别人说的话。一种是直接引语,如句________和________。
    2.另一种是间接引语,如句________、________和________。
    [语法规则]
    直接引语是直接引述别人的原话,直接引语一般前后要加引号。间接引语是用自己的话对别人的话进行转述,不用引号。
    直接引语与间接引语的变化
    1.人称变化
    直接引语变间接引语时的人称变化遵循以下原则:
    [巧学助记] 直接引语变间接引语时的人称变化口诀:
    一随主,二随宾,第三人称不更新。
    [巧学活用1]——补全下列间接引语中的人称
    ①He said t Jack, “Yu are the first t reach here tday.”
    →He tld Jack that ________ was the first t reach there that day.
    ②Linda said t Tim, “I'll g there with yu.”
    →Linda tld Tim that ________ wuld g there with ________.
    ③Her husband said t her, “Where did yu put my cat?”
    →Her husband asked her where ________ had put ________ cat.
    ④“Why d yu cry again, Carl?” asked the teacher.
    →The teacher asked Carl why ________ cried again.
    ⑤He said t Tm, “She can help them.”
    →He tld Tm that ________ culd help ________.
    2.时态变化(主句为一般过去时)
    ①His friend said t him, “We are planning t have a picnic.”
    →His friend tld him that they were planning t have a picnic.
    ②The rganizer said, “We have begun ur plan.”
    →The rganizer said that they had begun their plan.
    ③He said, “She will g hme.”
    →He said that she wuld g hme.
    [温馨提示] 直接引语变间接引语之特殊时态变化
    (1)直接引语是客观真理、谚语和格言时,时态不变。
    “The earth mves arund the sun and the mn mves arund the earth,” the teacher tld me.
    →The teacher tld me the earth mves arund the sun and the mn mves arund the earth.
    老师告诉我,地球绕着太阳转,月球绕着地球转。
    (2)直接引语中有具体的过去时间状语时,时态不变。
    Tm said, “I was brn n April 21, 1980.”
    →Tm said he was brn n April 21, 1980.
    汤姆说他生于1980年4月21日。
    [巧学助记] 直接引语变成间接引语,主句是陈述句且是过去时态时,其变化口诀是:
    去掉引号加that,人称使用要灵活,
    时态向后退一个,状语变化按原则。
    [巧学活用2]——将下列句子改为间接引语
    ①He said, “I like it very much.”
    →He said that ________________________.
    ②The designer said, “We have begun ur prject.”
    →The designer said that ____________________.
    ③My father said, “Practice makes perfect.”
    →My father said ________________________.
    ④I said, “I will give her sme advice tmrrw.”

    3.指示代词、时间状语、地点状语及方向性动词的变化
    ①He said, “I pened the windw this mrning.”
    →He said that he had pened the windw that mrning.
    ②He said, “We went t the cinema yesterday.”
    →He said they had gne t the cinema the day befre.
    ③The manager said t me, “Yu must g there next week.”
    →The manager tld me that I had t g there the next week.
    ④He said, “It is nine 'clck nw.”
    →He said that it was nine 'clck then.
    ⑤“Are yu leaving tday r tmrrw?” Jan asked Kate.
    → Jan asked Kate if/whether she was leaving that day r the next day.
    ⑥He said, “My sister was here three days ag.”
    →He said that his sister had been there three days befre.

    ④He shuted, “Lily, clse the dr.”

    [巧学助记] 直接引语变成间接引语时,句式和语序变化口诀:
    直引一般疑问句,助动词语全去掉,
    if/whether替引号,陈述语序要记牢,
    直引若为祈使句,引述动后t需要,
    直引否定祈使句, t前nt少不了。
    [巧学活用4]——将下列句子改为间接引语
