Teaching produces:

Step 1.Greeting and Revision

T and Ss greet each other as usual. Then T asks some Ss to revise the new words we learned last class.

Step 2. presentation

1.Ss turn to page 13,today, we’re going to learn “Unit 3 Is this your pencil?”（这个是你的铅笔吗） on the blackboard.

做肯定回答： Yes,it is.

做否定回答：No,it isn’t.

2. Now,look at the picture in your book.then T asks some Ss to read the new words,and match them in 1a.
3. T and Ss check the answer together.

Step 3. practice

1. Pair work : ask Ss to practice these words using the sentence“Is this/that your pencil?”

2. Ss read 1b and translate these sentences on the screen, then ask Ss to find the differences of 1bon the book.

Step 4. presentation

Ss answer the questions:“mine, his ，hers”,then T explains the grammar:

名词性物主代词=形容词性物主代词+名词

(名代=形代+名词) and write these prases on the blackboard.

mine=my bag

yours =your book

his =his pen

hers=her hair

Step 5. practice

Ss do some exercises on the page 23 to practice the knowledge.

Step 6.summary

In this period, we mainly learn some words and the grammar.

Step7. Homework

Do the exercises on the exercise book.
