Lesson 10　How Many Are There?

1．能够掌握名词变复数的规则，以及现在进行时的构成，并且能够正确理解this与these的区别。

2．能够运用总结归纳法，情景创设法、任务驱动法、自主合作探究法、多媒体技术直观地学习如何将名词变复数，以及掌握一些不规则的变化，使学生可以用英语完成一些任务并在真实的情景中自然交流，达到培养学生综合运用语言能力的目的。

3．通过情景创设，让学生掌握名词的单复数变化，树立复数意识，激发和培养学生学习英语的欲望和乐于运用英语交流的态度和能力。

重点

掌握名词变复数的规则、不规则变化。

难点

名词变复数的不规则变化以及单复数之间的转化。

Step 1　Warming up

1．Say a chant.

Bananas，one and two.

Banana，bananas，I see you.

Oranges，one and two.

Orange，oranges，I see you.

Apples，one and two.

Apple，apples，I see you.

So many apples.

2．“成双入对”接龙游戏。

T：Boys and girls，let's play a game.

I have three pens.(出示三支铅笔)

I have two desks.

I have four rulers.

Step 2　Presentation

1．学习Part 1 and Part 2.

Look and say.

Example：This is one ruler.

These are many rulers.

　　　 　This is a book.

These are many books.

This is a box.

These are many boxes.

This is a watch.

These are many watches.

What do you find?

2．学习Part 3。

大变魔术。

教师将道具里面装满所需要的实物，先变出一个，再变出多个。

This is a tomato.　　These are many tomatoes.

This is a potato.    These are many potatoes.

This is a  photo.    These are many photos.

3．学习Part 4。

(1)听Part 1，Part 2 and Part 3部分录音，完成探究学习中第Ⅰ题。完成后核对答案。

(2)再听Part 1，Part 2 and Part 3部分录音，完成探究学习中第Ⅱ题。完成后核对答案。

(3)小组阅读，讨论。完成探究学习中第Ⅲ题。完成后核对答案。

(4)教师领读Part 4，讲解不规则变化。

Step 3　Practice

1．Read the text again.And then try to finish 课堂检测1.

2．Read and summaries how to change the plural form.然后试卷完成课堂检测2。

Step 4　Consolidation

创设情景“懒羊羊逛市场”。

T：The Lazy Sheep goes to the supermarket.Can you write a composition to introduce what he sees?

Example：It is Sunday today.I go to the supermarket.Look.these are tomatoes…
