Brainstorming—Spring Festival设计意图:通过主题为春节的头脑风暴活动复习巩固上一课时所学重要词汇和现在进行时的使用,同时活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的学习热情。Step 2 Pre-reading Activity 11. T lets Ss work in pairs, looking at the pictures and talking about what’s happening.2. T invites some pairs to present their conversations in front of the class.Step 3 While-reading Activity 21. T tells Ss to read the three paragraphs and then match the pictures with the paragraphs. 2. Ss read the passage and answer the questions.3. Ss read again and complete the table.设计意图:阅读任务由浅到深,培养学生提取信息和处理信息的能力。Step 4 Post-reading Fill in the blanks and try to retell the passage.Activity 31. T tells Ss to look at the notes about Christmas and match the notes with the headings.2. T lets Ss check their answers in pairs and then T elicits the answers.Activity 51.
