Module 9 People and places Unit 3 Language in use-1一、教学目标: 1. 复习巩固本单元重点词汇。2. 重点句子:I’m standing on the Great Wall of China and talking to you.Tony is eating a delicious ice cream.They’re working.People aren’t having dinner.3. 能掌握现在进行时的构成并能够用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情。4. 能够掌握动词-ing的构词规律。5. 了解不同地方的人们生活中的异同。二、教学重点及难点重点:1. 能够用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情。2. 能掌握现在进行时的构成。难点:1. 能够用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情。2. 能掌握现在进行时的构成。三、教学准备多媒体课件四、相关资源五、教学过程Step 1 Warming-up Sing a song: Are you sleeping?设计意图:通过歌曲让学生熟悉现在进行时,为本节语法课做铺垫。Step 2 Presentation Language practice1. Read through the example sentences in the box with the whole class.2. Ask the students to repeat the sentences in the box and find out the structure of the present continuous tense.3. T and Ss learn the present continuous tense together.现在进行时1. 定义:表示现在正在进行的动作。 2. 构成:be + V.-ing. be (am / is /are) 随着人称、数的变化而变化。现在分词的组成形式: 1) 动词后面直接加-ing: do → doing buy → buying2) 以e结尾的动词去e加-ing: have → having take → taking 3) 以重读闭音节结尾的单词,双写最后一个字母,然后加-ing: run→ running swim → swimming 4) 特殊形式的变化:lie → lying 设计意图:展示例句,引导学生归纳现在进行时的用法,同时使学生学会自主学习,合作学习,探究学习。Step 3 Practice Activity 11. Ss look at the picture and describe what they can see in the picture.2. Read through the example sentence with the whole class. Then Ss work in pairs and talk about what the people are doing.3. Invite some Ss to introduce what the people are doing in the picture.设计意图:操练句型,加深对现在进行时理解。Activity 21. Read through the conversation with the whole class.2. Ask the students to complete the conversation between Tony and his dad with the correct form of the words in brackets with a partner.3. Check the answers.4. Read the conversation together. 设计意图:通过练习,掌握现在进行时的构成。Activity 31. Read through the example sentences.Some boys are playing football. They aren’t playing basketball. 2. Look at the pictures in Activity 3.3. Ask the students: What can you see?4. Ask the students to write about the pictures with a partner.5. Try to remember some of the things that people do at different times and different places.2. Review Around the world.六、板书设计Unit 3 Language in use-11. 定义:表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行的动作,还可以表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。2. 动词-ing形式的变化规则(1) 动词后面直接加-ing doing buying playing(2) 以字母e结尾的动词,去掉e,然后加-ing: having taking giving writing(3) 以辅音字母 + 元音字母 + 辅音字母的重读闭音节结尾的动词,如果末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写这个辅音字母,然后加-ing。 running swimming sitting shopping getting beginning putting(4) 特殊形式的变化lie — lying die — dying3. 谓语动词的构成: 助动词be + V-ing
