一、导入环节(2分钟)(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:
Lesson 10 Looking for Lisa
(二)出示学习目标 过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握单词和短语:rush,into,shout,quarter--;a quarter,on time.--
2.通过学习,我要学会在图书馆借书的一些表达句型。

探究三:Language Points 1.英语中时间的表达方法:
◆直接表达法 (1)用“基数词 + o’clock”来表示整点,注意o’clock须用单数,可以省略。
eight o’clock 八点钟,ten o’clock 十点钟 (2)用基数词按“钟点+分钟”的顺序直接写出时间。eleven five 十一点零五分,six forty六点四十
◆间接表达法 (1)如果分钟数少于30,可用“分钟数+past+钟点”表示,其中past是介词,意思是“过”。twenty past four四点二十 ,eight past one 一点零八分
(2)如果分钟数多于30,可用“距下一整点的分钟数+to+下一整点”表示,其中to是介词,意思是“差”。8:35 可表示为twenty-five to nine 差二十五分钟九点,即八点三十五。
【注意】 (1)当分钟数是15时,可用名词quarter (一刻钟)表示。7:15可表示为 a quarter past seven, 12:15可表示为 a quarter past twelve。 (2)当分钟数是30时,可用名词half (一半)表示。9:30可表示为half past nine,3:30可表示为 half past three。 (3)若表示的时间不够准确,可在时间前加上介词about。about eight大约八点 (4) 在时间点前面应用介词at,来表示“在……点”。at nine 在九点钟,at about five thirty-five p.m.大约在下午五点三十五分。
2.辨析:how long, how often, how soon 与how far.
(1) how long 1) 意为“多久,多长时间”,对时间段进行提问。2)意为“多长”,对物体长度进行提问。(2)how often 意为“多久一次”,对动作发生的频率进行提问。(3)how soon 意为“多久以后”,回答常用“in+时间段”,常用于一般将来时。(4)how far 意为“多远”,对距离进行提问。[练一练]:根据提示完成句子。
1. ---How long has he lived here?---For 5 years. 他在这儿住多长时间了?五年了。
2. ---How long is the rope? ---It’s 10 metres long. 这根绳子有多长?十米长。
3. ---How often do you watch a movie? ---Once a month.你多久看一次电影?一个月一次。
4. ---How soon will they come back? ---In two days. ---他们多久以后回来?---两天后。
5. ---How far is it from your home to school? ---About two kilometres. ---从你家到学校有多远?---大约两千米。
