Module 2 My familyUnit 1 Is this your mum?一、教学目标1. 能够掌握重点词汇:aunt, brother, cousin, daughter, family, father, grandfather, grandmother, grandparent, mother, parent, sister, son, uncle, photo, these, they, mum, left, on the left, right, on the right, who, woman, next, next to, husband, front, in front of, those2. 能够掌握重点句型:(1) — Is this your family? — Yes, it is. (2) — Are these your grandparents?— Yes, they are.(3) — Who’s this?— That’s my dad.(4) Those are Paul’s son and daughter…3. 能够听懂有关家庭介绍的简短对话,并且能够辨认对话中的人物关系。4. 能够用指示代词介绍自己的家庭成员和询问他人的家庭成员情况。5. 能够培养学生对家庭的热爱和对家庭成员的关心之情。二、教学重点及难点重点:1. 能够掌握本单元的重点词汇及句型。2. 能够听懂有关家庭介绍的简短对话,并且能够辨认对话中的人物关系。难点:能够用指示代词介绍自己的家庭成员和询问他人的家庭成员情况。三、教学准备教师:多媒体课件学生:课前预习四、相关资源微视频 family members五、教学过程Step 1 Warming-up1. Watch and learn the words about family members. 2. Think of the words about family members as many as they can.设计意图:通过视频导入本单元有关家庭成员的主题,同时引导学生尽可能多的说出自己知道的家庭成员的名称,提高学生的学习兴趣,使学生尽快的投入本节课的学习。Step 2: Pre-listeningVocabularyLook and learn the new words. 设计意图:看图片学习有关家庭成员和方位介词的词汇和短语,为接下来的听力活动扫清词汇障碍。Activity 11. Work in pairs and talk about Tony’s family.设计意图:通过展示图片,并且让学生描述图片的活动,引导学生练习运用目标词汇和目标句型。2. Look at the picture and talk about everyone’s position.Activity 2Listen and check (√) in Activity 1 the people Tony mentions.设计意图:通过听Tony介绍自己家庭成员的对话,勾选出Tony提到的家庭成员,培养学生抓取关键信息的能力。Step 3: While-listeningActivity 31. Listen and answer. (1) What are they talking about?(2) Is Tony’s family big or small?2. Role-play the conversation in activity 3.设计意图:通过角色扮演进一步训练学生的口语输出能力。Activity 4Underline the correct words. 设计意图:本活动以语段的形式转述了对话内容,意在考查学生听后提取信息的能力和理解语篇的能力。Language points1. This is a photo of Tony’s family. 这是一张托尼的全家福。(1) photo为名词,意为“照片,图片”,同picture。Here is my family photo. 这是我的全家福。注意:photo的复数形式为photos。(2) family为名词,意为“家,家庭”。Do you have a big family? 你有一个大家庭吗?【拓展】family既可以作为个体名词表示“家庭”,也可以用作集合名词表示“家庭成员”,用作个体名词时,谓语动词用第三人称单数形式,用作集合名词时,谓语动词用复数形式。Her family is big and all her family are in Beijing now. 她的家庭是个大家庭,她所有家人现在都在北京。2. Is this your family? 这是你的家庭吗?“Is this/that...?”是一般疑问句,表示“这是/那是……吗?”。this用来指离说话人较近的人或物,that用来指离说话人较远的人或物。—Is this your book? 这是你的书吗?—Yes, it is. 是的,它是。—Is that your sister? 那是你姐姐吗?—No, it isn’t. 不,不是。Activity 5Listen and repeat. 设计意图:通过听音跟读,帮助学生纠正语音语调,提高学生的发音水平。Activity 6Work in pairs and ask each other about their family photos. 设计意图:通过结对谈论有关各自全家福照片的内容,进一步锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。 ConsolidationDo some exercises to consolidate this unit.Fill in the blanks. 1. The man is my u___________ and he is my father’s brother. 2. My father’s father and mother are my g___________. 3. Has she got a brother or a s___________? 4. That’s my uncle.— Are these your grandparents?— Yes, they are / No, they aren’t.设计意图:巩固所学的重点词汇及句型。Step 6 Homework1. Remember the keys words and sentences in this unit.2.
