Section B 1a-1d教材分析本课是一节听说课,围绕谈论自己所喜欢的学科这一话题,开展多种多样的以听、说、读为主,兼顾写的学习活动。本课主要通过听、说、读、写活动来完成下列学习任务:1. 复习学科的表达。2. 学习星期一到星期天的表达方式。3.复习谈论偏爱询问喜欢的学科并给出理由的语言结构。4. 学习谈论他人的偏爱询问他人喜欢的学科并给出理由的语言结构。5. 学习用because和描述性形容词阐述理由。6. 复习whatwhywhowhen引导的特殊疑问句,通过复习when引导的特殊疑问句来学习星期一至星期天前面介词on 的用法,并渗透西方文化的介绍,即星期天是一周的起点,星期六是一周的结束。7. 通过谈论一周的课程安排让学生学会合理的安排自己的作息时间, 以培养学生良好的学习和生活习惯学情分析这些农村孩子从小学升入中学还不到一学期,他们怀着好奇、兴奋和期待的心情进入初中学习。他们朴实、聪明、活泼、可爱,积极向上,学习热情高,因此,应抓住这一大好时机,做好他们的思想工作,激发他们的学习动机,培养他们的学习兴趣和自信心,使他们积极主动地参与学习。本课在进行教学时将在课堂活动中把学生分成四个小组:Group Science,  Group MusicP.E. & Art, Group Chinese & Math, Group History & Geography进行竞赛,在竞赛的小红旗上对应写上Science, MusicP.E. & Art, Chinese & Math, History & Geography便于学生复习表达学科的词,在竞赛中不断强化巩固。本单元立足于任务,以不同的方式向学生传授目标语言,让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能、情感体验,发展他们在学习和生活中团结协作,互帮互助的能力;创建开放式、探究式的课堂,有意识的渗透学习策略的指导, 如:听听力时注意获取关键词等;让学生通过表演对话、调查、报道实现交际策略。Teaching Aims1. Knowledge Objects(1) Function: Talk about ones favorite subject.(2) Key vocabulary: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Sunday, free, cool, A.M, P.M. (3) Target Language----What’s his/her/ favorite subject?  ----- His/Her/favorite subject is… .----Why does he/she like …? Because it’s interesting/fun/relaxing… . When is the class? It’s on … . Who is your music teacher?2. Ability Objects(1) Talk about the students’ schedule of work and rest.(2) Talk about the subjects which students like and give reasons.(3) Learn to survey  students about their favorite Lanzhou cards and subjects through group work, then give a report to us.3. Moral Objects(1) Stimulate the students  interest in learning their subjects.(2) Learn to cooperate and communicate with othersLearn to share with others; Learn to help each other.(3) Enhance the friendship between teachers and students and train the students to have good learning and living habits.(4) Inspire the love of the students in Lanzhou.Teaching Key Points(1)  Learn the nouns of the week.(2) The questions which begins with whatwhenwhy and who.(3) Through talking about the students’ schedule of work and rest skillfully, let the students learn to arrange their time properly.Teaching Difficult Points(1)  How to get information from the recording.(2)  Through talking about the students’ schedule of work and rest skillfully, let the students learn to arrange their time properly.Teaching MethodsCompetition; Game; Chant; Music; Pairwork; Groupwork; Survey and Report; Task—based  Language Teaching.Teaching AidsFour group cards; Four red flags with group’s names on them; Survey chart; An iPad; Four big pieces of paper with listening tasks on them; The PPT.Teaching ProceduresStep1 Announcing the rules about the competitions.Tell the students about the rules in the competitions in class.设计目的:让学生清楚本节课的竞赛规则。Step2 RevisionT: Let’s review the words about subjects. We will chant . Before  you chant , please pay attention to the order of the subjects . Now let’s chant . while chanting , you can add some actions.Ss: Favorite, favorite, what’s your favorite?... .T: Pretty good!设计目的:复习本节课多次用到的表示学科的词,以便学生更好地学习新课。Step3 Lead-inT: In this class , we’ll learn some new words about days of the week. First let’s watch a video and follow the boy to learn the new words about days of the week. Now stand up and sing along with song.You did a good job just now. Have you memorized the new words yet?Ss: Yes. T: Great!设计目的:导入新课, 通过动画和“Day of the Week”这首歌学习新单词。Step4  A GameT: Now let’s play a game to test your vision and memory.Ss: OK.T: You did a pretty good job. Let’s take a look at your rankings. Congratulations!设计目的:通过游戏,检测学生对星期到星期的这几个单词的掌握情况。Step5 1aT: Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. First we’ll learn two new words. How do you say “free” and “cool”. Now  let’s read them four times together. Then let’s  have a competition. I will give you points, If you get the right answer.S: The opposite words of boring are “interesting, fun, cool.”T: You are right. I will give you one point. Let’s clap our hands. What’s the opposite of difficult? S: Easy.T: You are right. I will give you one point. Let’s clap our hands. What’s the opposite word of busy?S: Free.T: Wonderful!T: Now let’s check your points. A big hand, please!设计目的:让学生掌握boring, difficult, busy的反义词, 为后面的学习内容进行铺垫Step6 1bT: Listen and check the words you hear in 1a. we’ll have a competition again. Well done!设计目的:让学生尝试从听力录音中捉关键词,从而获取信息。Step7 1cT: Listen again and circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. At the beginning of this partI will give out each group a piece of paper. Now work in groups and try to fill in the blanks with your group members after listening. You can help each other. You can help your group leaders. If your answers are all correct , I’ll give you one point. If  your handwriting is better , I’ll give you another point. It’s on ... . ”的用法,学会用目标语言谈论学生自己的作息时间表,通过Pairwork培养学生对各门功课的兴趣,增强师生感情。Step11 PairworkT: You are David. Imagine (设想) that David is visiting your school in Lanzhou, and he knows that there are five Lanzhou cards (兰州名片), he is interested in them. Now make a conversation with your partner to talk about his/her favorite Lanzhou cardthen exchange roles. We’ll have a competition again . If your  conversation is fluent , I’ll give one point to your group . Ss: OK.… .T: Really goodI’ll give you  points. Now look at your rankings. Let’s applaud.设计目的:通过谈论兰州的五张名片,培养学生语言运用能力。体现了学中用,用中学,学以致用,学用结合的原则。Step12  Survey and ReportT: David wants to make a survey on two members about their favorite Lanzhou cards and subjects. I will give each member a survey chart. First fill in the chart, then report to us. I’ll give you some time to prepare for it. You can help each other.Ss: OK.T: Have you finished yet?  Now try.Ss: T: Good enough!设计目的:通过调查学生最喜爱的兰州名片和最喜爱的学科,培养学生的语言运用能力、合作能力、交际能力,并培养学生对家乡——兰州的热爱之情。充分体现了学中用,用中学,学以致用,学用结合的原则。Step 13 SummaryT: What new words have we learned today?Ss:The Nouns of the week.T: You did a good job!T: What sentence patterns have we learned today?Ss: …T: Now read them  together.设计目的:梳理本节课学习的主要知识点,让学生对本节课的知识点进行复习、巩固。Step14 Moral EducationT: Nothing is difficult in the world if you put your heart in it. What does the sentence mean?Ss: 世上无难事,只怕有心人。T: Excellent!T: I was once fat . Now I am thin. How have I made it?Ss: By doing sports every day.T: I think there is nothing difficult in learning your subjects, if you keep trying and never give up. I believe you can do it. I believe you can make it. Come on!Ss:OK!  Come on!设计目的:通过自己锻炼减肥的图片,告诉学生:只要持之以恒,永不言弃,任何事情都能做成,用以培养学生在学习中不怕苦,持之以恒,永不放弃的精神。Step15  Homework1. Review the new words you learned in this class.2. You are David. You want to make a survey about another 3 students’ favorite Lanzhou cards and subjects in other groups. First survey , then report to us tomorrow.设计目的:培养学生课后学习、动手实践及与同学交流、合作的能力。Step16  Announcing the results of the students’ competitions and expressing congratulations to them.T: Now take a look at your rankings. Give you a big hand for your wonderful performances.设计目的:对小组取得的成绩及时予以表扬和鼓励,以激发学生学习的积极性,培养他们的集体荣誉感、完善的人格及奋发向上的优良品质。教学评价1.本课时的目标设计清晰可操作,活动设计紧扣目标要求并与目标达成一致。2.听中活动设计遵循语言规律,由易到难逐层递进,充分体现语言输入到语言输出的完整过程。3.听后的活动设计体现对文本内容的深度挖掘和文本再构,体现了对学生思维品质的训练与培养。4.拓展部分的设计,使学生的语言学习回归到语言实践中,培养了学生热爱家乡——兰州的情怀。充分体现了学中用,用中学,学以致用,学用结合的原则。Teaching Reflection本课让学生能运用所学语言解决日常生活中遇到的问题。本课以听说为主兼顾写的能力,通过咏唱、唱、游戏、听写、对话、调查和报道培养学生口头表达能力及写的能力。学生在语言实践中虽然存在用词不当,目标语言不够熟练、不够准确等问题,但都能够大胆地去说、去用,实现了本课所设定的目标,今后加强训练,力争进一步提高学生的语言应用能力                                                           板书设计Unit 9 My favorite subject is science.Sunday          TuesdayThursday        Wednesday             Friday              Saturday  Monday
