Ss: no, this is a ladybird. Show picture of a red thing. Guess is this a …? Ss… Pair work.
Point to the shades. T: Can you guess what this is? Learn butterfly and dragonfly. Compare the two words. They have the same letter fly. T can show the wings with the two things to help them remember.
Is it nice? Ss: Yes. T: You can say? Ss: It’s nice. T: You can say it’s cute. Learn cute. T: Look at the dragonfly. S: It’s cute. Pair work using ladybird/dragonfly/butterfly.
Play the sound of the cicada. T: What’s this? Ss Guess. Learn cicada. Read together. Read in groups.
