一、导入环节(2分钟)(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:

(二)出示学习目标 过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握单词和短语:meal,conversation ----;give…a big hug,give thanks to…for…--
2.通过学习,我要掌握一些庆祝感恩节的表达方法和句式。

探究三:Language Points
1.give sb a big hug:给某人一个热情的拥抱(短语中hug为名词,另huh还可以做及物动词,意为“拥抱”)类似的短语还有:give sb a hand 给予某人帮助;give sb a lead 给某人树立榜样;give sb a lift 让某人搭便车
2.be coming 用现在进行时表示将来。
现在进行时表示将来主要用于表示按计划安排即将发生的动作。具有这种用法的有come,go,leave,start,arrive,fly等表示位置移动的动词。
例:Are you leaving? 你要离开了吗?
3.with one’s help在某人的帮助下 其中one’s是形容词性物主代词或名词所有格,相当于with the help of sb. 与help相关的其它短语还有:(1)can’t help doing sth 忍不住做某事 (2)help sb with sth 在某方面给予某人帮助 (3)help sb (to) do sth 帮助某人做某事。(4)help to do sth 帮助做某事
4.thanks for...感谢…… 另:(1) thanks (to sb.) for sth.“因某事(向某人)表示感谢”。
Thanks for your invitation.感谢你的邀请。(2)give thanks to sb.for...意为“因……而感谢某人”。for后接名词、代词或动名词形式。The parents gave thanks to that old woman for her kindness to their daughter. 那对父母因为那位老妇人善待他们的女儿而感谢她。
(3)thanks to 幸亏,由于 Thanks to your help,we finished it on time.多亏了你们的帮助,我们准时完成了它。
5.have a conversation with...意为“和……谈话”。
The teacher had a long conversation with Tom. 老师和汤姆进行了一次长谈。
同义短语为:have a talk with...。
