一、教学目标
1. 熟练掌握本单元重点词汇:

2. 能够掌握重点句型:
Would you like to come to my birthday party?
I always like birthday parties.
What do you usually do at a Chinese birthday party?
My mother never makes a birthday cake.

3. 能听懂用would you like to句型发出的邀请和关于如何过生日的简单描述。
4. 用would you like to 对他人发出生日聚会邀请,并就此话题进行对话。

Step 1 Warming-up
1. Watch the film and do a free talk.
2. Brainstorming.
设计意图:通过看电影《冰雪奇缘:生日惊喜》的视频片段和头脑风暴,引导学生说出有关生日的语言表达,既调动了学生的积极性,也能自然引入本单元关于生日的话题。
Step 2 Pre-listening
Activity 1
T shows the picture to the Ss and talk about the picture.
Activity 2
1. Ss listen to the recording and number the words as they hear them.
2. Ss listen again and check their answers.
3. Ss read the conversation and then act it out.
设计意图:本活动要求学生集中注意力听对话,准确捕捉单词顺序,进一步熟悉与话题相关的内容,同时培养学生的听力判断能力。
Step 3 While-listening
Activity 3
1. Ss listen to the recording and answer the questions.
2. Ss listen to the recording again and check the true sentences in Activity 3.

Step 4 Post-listening
Read the conversation and fill in the blanks, and then learn the adverbs of frequency.

1. Ss read the short passage and underline the correct words.

Activity 5
1. Ss read the words in the box and make sure they understand them.
2. Ss complete the sentences with the words from the box.

1. Ss read the conversation and find out the difficult points they can’t understand.
2. T gives some explanation.

would like意为“想,想要”,与want意义相同,但语气更委婉。
(1) would like sth.
— Would you like a cup of tea?
— Yes, please. / No, thanks.
(2) would like to do sth.
— Would you like to go shopping with me?
— Yes, I’d like to. / I’d like to, but I have to do my homework.
设计意图:学习相关语言点,加深对对话内容的理解。
Activity 6
1. T read these words one by one and Ss follow.
2. T plays the recording and Ss read after it.
3. Ss work in pairs and practice reading these words.
设计意图:掌握单词的正确读音,使学生的发音更纯正。
Activity 7
Ss work in pairs and talk about what they usually do on their birthdays. After that, Ss try to make a report. At last, T invites some Ss to demonstrate their conversations in front of the whole class.
