一、教学目标:
1. 能够掌握重点词汇:
dance,clean, cook,meal,speak,happen,ready,get ready for…,festival,beautiful, put away,hard,floor, join,
2. 能够掌握重点句型:
(1) What are you doing at the moment?
(2) What’s happening?
(3) I’m making big red lanterns.
(4) —Is your father helping you?
—No, he isn’t. He’s still at work.
3. 能够听懂春节前的准备活动。
4. 能够询问对方是否在做某事。
5. 通过玲玲家春节前的准备活动,使学生了解过春节的习俗,热爱祖国文化。

重点:1. 掌握重点的单词和短语。
2. 运用现在进行时的一般疑问句进行问答。
难点:能够运用现在进行时谈论春节。

Step 1 Warming-up
1. Brainstorming—Festival
2. Talk about the picture——Spring Festival.
设计意图:通过看图猜节日和春节图片导入,吸引学生注意力,有效活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2 Pre-listening
Learn new words
1. Look at the pictures and learn the new words.
2. Ss practice reading the new words themselves and then read the words together.
Activity 1
1. Ss work in pairs and talk about what is happening in the pictures.
2. T lets Ss match the pictures with the expressions.
3. Ss check the answers in pairs and then T elicits the answers from the whole class.
Activity 2
1. T plays the recording. Ss listen and number the pictures.
2. Ss listen to the recording again and check the answers.
Step 3 While-listening
Activity 3
1. Ss listen to the dialogue and check the phrases they hear.
2. T lets Ss choose the correct answer and then check with a partner.
3 T checks the answers with the whole class.
Step 4 Post-listening
Activity 4
1. Ss try to write possible answers individually.
2. Ss read the dialogue and check their answers.
3. T checks the answers with Ss by asking and answering the questions.
设计意图:师生通过问答的方式核对答案,加深对现在进行时疑问句的理解和运用。
Retell
Look at the pictures and try to retell the dialogue.
Activity 5
1. Ss read the passage and talk about what is missing with a partner.
2. T lets Ss complete the passage with the correct form of the words and expression from the box.
3. Ss check their answers in pairs and then T elicits the answers.
设计意图:通过短文填空的任务加深学生对本课词汇的运用和巩固。
Language points
T explains some language points.
1. This is Tony speaking. 我是托尼。
打电话介绍自己时,用This is…speaking,意为“我是……”。
询问对方是谁时,用Is that…speaking?意为“你是……吗?”。
2. Are you getting ready for Spring Festival? 你们正在为春节做准备吗?
get ready for 为……做准备
3. Can I join them? 我能加入他们吗?
join 意为“参加;加入”,后面既可以接组织、团体,也可以接“somebody”,而“join in”后面接活动。

1. T asks Ss to listen and repeat the sounds after the recording.
2. Ss practice reading the words themselves.
设计意图:通过拼读单词,总结相关字母或字母组合的发音规律。
Speak out
1. Ss look at the pictures and think about what is happening in each picture.
2. T lets Ss work in pairs and talk about what people in the pictures are doing.
3. T invites some pairs to present their conversations to the class.
