1. 表示“看”的辨析：

watch 侧重“观看”，强调看活动的，非静止的画面，

如看电视watch TV，看球赛watch a match。

look “看”，强调看的动作，为不及物动词，因此要表示“看。。。”，必须加介词at

Look! The bus is coming.

Please look at the blackboard.

see “看见，看到”，强调看的结果

Please look at the picture. What can you see ?

read “阅读”，指看有文字内容的东西

如看书read a book，看报纸read a newspaper，看杂志read a magazine

2．between  

prep. 在……之间，通常指两者之间，常与and连用，可以是为两人之间，两物之间，还可以是两时期之间。如：

①Tom sits between Mike and I. 汤姆坐在我和迈克之间。

②The shop is between the police station and the train station. 商店坐落在警察局和火车站之间。

③She was born between 1970 to 1975. 她出生在1970和1975年之间。

3. little与a little的辨析：

little表示否定意义，表示数量“很少”或“几乎没有”；而a little则表示肯定意义，表示量虽不多，但毕竟还是有一点。如：

I have little interest in drawing. 我对画画没什么兴趣。

The woman speaks a little English. 那女人讲一点英语。
