一、场景描写
(一)自然场景

The sun went in, and the breeze became cold.

The mist melted rapidly in the morning sun.

(二)社会场景
1.整个教室一片安静Silence spread across the classroom
2.整个教室安静了下来Silence fell in the classroom
3.这是在学校的最后一天,整个班级非常难过It was the last day of school.The whole class was enveloped In sadness.
4.老师讲完故事后,教室里爆发出阵阵掌声.The teacher having finished the story,claps burst out from the classroom.
5.同学们争前恐后地发言All the students were trying to get a word in.
6.他尴尬得涨红了脸His face flushed with embarrassment.
二、语言描写
1.对话标签在前
She said,“I would like to go with you, but I haven’t finished my homework.”
2.对话标签在后
“I would like to go with you, but I haven’t finished my homework.”She said.
这两句是最常见的形式,大家写出来,应该问题不大。我们来看第三种形式。
3.对话标签在句子中间
“I would like to go with you,”she said, “but I haven’t finished my homework.”
【提升语言描写小技巧】
在对话标签中加入语气,嗓音,情感让你的描写更生动传神。
①第一种:加语气
“I would love to,” said Emilyin a pleasant tone. “我很乐意这样做,”艾米丽用一种愉快的语气说。
这里用到了“in a pleasant tone. ”,即“用一种愉快的语气”,基本结构为:in a/an+形容词+tone
如:in a pleasant愉悦的/firm坚定的/rude粗鲁的/sad悲伤的 tone
也可以用 in a tone of +名词的搭配
如:in a tone of surprise用一种惊讶的语气
in a tone ofcuriosity用一种好奇的语气
in a tone ofimpatience用一种不耐烦的语气
in a tone ofcommand用一种命令的语气
② 第二种:加嗓音
“I didn’t mean to,” she murmuredin a low voice. “我不是故意的,”她低声说。
这里用到了“ in a low voice”,即“小声地说道”或者“用一种...声音”,基本结构是:in a/an+形容词+voice
如:in a high /low / sweet/loud/soft /weak voice 用一个高/低/甜/响亮/软/弱的声音
③第三种:加情感
“I...I.. don’t think I’m right for the part,”I repliedwith embarrassment.“我...我..认为我不适合这个角色,”我尴尬地回答。
这里用到了“ with embarrassment”,即“(伴随着)难堪”,基本结构是:with +情感名词。如with excitement (伴随着)激动。
④加副词
“我再也不会那样做了,”我回答。如何丰富这句话里的对话标签呢?
“I will never do that again,” I answeredfirmly. 加上了副词firmly(坚定地)
这句话也可以这么写:可将副词提到句首。
Firmly,I answered,“I will never do that again.”
【语言素材积累】
⑴“Well,”said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat of the back of his neck.
此处在说的动作后,紧跟了as引导的状语从句,翻译成“一边,一边”。他一边擦脖子后面的汗水一边说“好啊。”
⑵“I want that one,”the boy said, pointing to the little dog.
= Pointing the little dog, the boy said, “I want that one.”
此处在说的动作后,紧跟了doing的非谓语结构,表伴随。
⑶The farmerpicked up the dog, knelt down and said in a soft voice, “It’s yours now.”
=The farmerpicked up the dog and knelt down, saying, “It’s yours now.”
此处是拿起狗,蹲下并温柔地说的三个并列动作,可以用并列谓语,也可以用第二条中的非谓语。
⑷ With her head down/With tears in her eyes, she said, “Sorry.”
小结:在说的同时,可以加入伴随动作,即说话的同时(自己/别人)在做什么,用动作描写来辅助对话。可以用as引导的从句,非谓语,并列谓语以及with的复合结构。
