    Step1 Warm up

    1. Greetings

    T: Class begins.

    T: Good morningboys and girls.

    T: Very polite. Sit down, please.

    T: First, please look at the screen. They are our aims of this lesson.

    No.1 I can say more words about animals.

    No.2 I can useDo you like...(s)? Yes, I do./No, I dont.to talk about my favourite animals.

    No.3 I can read,understand and act out cartoon time.Are you clear?

    T: OK. Now, lets begin our class.

    1.First, let’s enjoy a song about the animals.

    Step2 Revision

    T: There are so many animals in the song, but different people like different animals. And do you remember:What animals do Su Hai,Yang Ling, Liu Tao and Mike like?(出示Su Hai,Yang Ling, Liu Tao,Mike图)

    Su Hai: I like dogs.

    Yang Ling: I like cats.

    Liu Tao: I like dogs, too.

    Mike: I like pandas, theyre cute and fat.

    Step3 Learn the new words

    T: In Story time, what animals do you know?

    S: dogs, cats, pandas

    T: What other animals do you know?

    引出a monkey,a horse, a tiger, a lion, an elephant.教读。

    T利用遮图引出学生未说出的动物类单词。

     T:look,whats this?(遮盖部分图片留一条猴尾让学生猜测)

     S:Its a monkey.

    Step4 Read the words

    Now lets review the words and try to say the plural form.

    整体出现八个动物类单词,读八个动物类单词,再说出复数形式。

    Step5 Play a game

    Boys and girls, I think you know the animals better now.So lets play a game about animals.Say the animals you can see or imagine quickly.Ready,go!

    You are good at playing the game.

    最后一张闪图出示竹子。学生齐说:panda.

    Step6 Fun time(Draw and say)

    1.What animals do I like? Can you guess?

    出示教师所画的图片,a panda.

    T:Look!This is a panda. (学生说)

    I like pandas. Do you like pandas?

    S: Yes, I do. They’re cute and fat.(任意点名学生回答)

    S: No, I dont. I like...(s). Theyre ... 板书句型教读。

    2.TWhat about your pictures? Where is your picture?

    S: It’s here.学生展示自己的画作

    TWow, theyre so beautiful.

    1. 选中四人小组一名学生图,教师和其余三名组员进行示范。

    A:This is a....I like...(s). Do you like…(s)?

    B: Yes, I do. They’re…

    C: No, I don’t.I like…(s). They’re…

    4.Group work.

    Please show your pictures to each other,ask and answer in four.

    1. Lets summarize.

    When can we use the plural form?

    Like add the plural form of the countable nouns.

    1. Play a game.(play it in the whole class, choose four students)

    In the music time, take your pictures with you and ask your classmates as more as possible.If they like your animals,they will draw a heart for you.And they will write their names under your heart.When the music stops,lets see who can get the most hearts.Ready,go!

    Step7 Cartoon time

    1.Im happy to see you can talk about your favourite animals.We also have two cartoon animal friends.Who are they?

    S:Bobby and Sam.

    T:Where are they now?

    S:They are at a snack bar.  贴板书At a snack bar

    T:Oh,boys and girls, look at them, maybe Bobby and Sam are hungry now.(学生说)Can you ask them?

    出示板书句型:Would you like...?让学生发问。贴板书。

    S: Would you like a cake?

    T: Maybe.

    S: Would you like a pie?

     T:Perhaps.

    1. Cartoon time(watch and choose)

    (1)T:What food do they like?

    T:Watch the cartoon and circle the food they like?

    S:They like______.(cakes)

    出示课文图。

    (2)True or false

    Now read the cartoon in a soft voice and make a judgment.

    1. Sam has a real cake.F(Sam has a picture cake.)

    出示课文图。

    T:圈出Bobby. Is Bobby happy?

    S:No, he isnt.

    (3)Thinking time

    T:Why is Bobby not happy?

    S1:Bobby is hungry.He would like a real cake.But Sam only has a picture cake.

    S2:Because Sam plays a trick on Bobby.

    S3:Bobby is so hungry, he cant stand any more.

    T:Im happy to see that many of you have an active mind.

    (4)Read after the tape

    T: Now lets read after the tape. Try to imitate and pay attention to your pronunciation.

    No,thanks=No,thank you.贴板书句型。

    I have a cake here. 我这里有个蛋糕解释have的意思

    (5)Read in groups(任选一种方式)

    Read in roles.

    Read together./...

    (6)Lets think.

    Bobby and Sam are at a snack bar.Before this, what else can they sayAnd theyre at a snack bar. What else can they say? You can fly your imagination.

    Pic2: Cakes are yummy./I have a cake in my bag./...

    Pic3:Sam, you are so bad./Lets buy the cake./...

    (7)Act the cartoon.

    Now Im Bobby.Who can be Sam?

    教师扮演Bobby先邀请一名学生做示范。

    Bobby:Im hungry, Sam.

    Sam:  Lets go to the snack bar.

          Would you like a pie, Bobby?

    Bobby:No, thanks. I dont like pies.I like cakes.

          Do you like cakes,Sam?

    Sam:  Yes, I do. I have a cake here. Look! Do you like it?

    Bobby: Oh,Sam,I dont like your picture cake.

           You are so bad to me.Hum.

    Sam:   Lets buy the cake.

    Bobby: Thank you, Sam.

    T:Rules: 1.Act the cartoon in our book.

           2.Act with your words.

           3.Act with your words and act it vividly.

    Try to get three stars.

    S:Act the cartoon.

    Step8.Share the symbolic animals in different countries.

    T:Lets know more about animals.We know panda is the national treasure.It is also the symbolic animal in China.

    What about other countries?

    Do you know the symbolic animals in other countries?

    Since you dont know,let me introduce.

    Koala:It looks like a small bear wih grey fur and lives in trees.

    White stork:It is Germanys national bird.

    Polar bear:A lagre bear that lives near the North Pole.

    You can try to know more about them after class.

    Step9 Lets enjoy some pictures

    Animals are our good friends,we should love them.

    Step10 Homework

    1.Talk about your favourite animals with your classmates.

    2.Make a new cartoon with your partner.

    3.Preview Sound time and Song time.
