Teaching aims and demands

1. Knowledge objects：to learn some new phrases such as eat with family，cause traffic accidents，face-to-face conversation and make good use of

1. students can be able to describe the phenomenon.

3. students can be able to write a composition by using the simple present tense

Teaching Materials：

  Photos, PPT, Videos…

Teaching Procedures:

  Step1: Lead in and Exploration

1. watch a short video about phubbers
2. show them the writing task of this class
3. ask them to examine the topic carefully

Step2:Situation developing

1. Divide the whole students into several groups
2. skim the title and ask them to discuss the main parts of writing this composition.
3. Get the students to write a simple outline
4. Help the students to describe the three pictures one by one.

Step3：Interaction between the students and the teacher

1.    divide them into four groups and ask them to express their own opinions of being phubbers
2.    The teacher write down some useful linking words while discussing

3.let the students know the advantages and disadvantages of smart phones.

Step4: While writing

1.   Give students 15minutes to write the body and the ending of this composition
2.   Call students’ attention to some writing suggestions

Step5:Assessing effective

1. Read and enjoy the compositions and correct it by themselves
2. Exchange the compositions with their partners and find the good words and sentences.
