T: Let’s protect our earth. To protect the earth, what should we do?
Step 2 Grammar time

T: Water is useful. We use water to clean things. Then how can we save water? What should we do? (用PPT呈现图片)

(教师用同样的方法与学生讨论wood, energy, plastic)
2. Find the rule
T: Please look at these sentences carefully. Can you find the rule?

Step 3 Summarize
1. Listen to a video
T: Water, wood, energy and plastic are useful. But people use too much of them. So the Earth is in danger. Let’s listen to a brief introduction. (播放有关保护环境的音频)
2. Make a report
T: Let’s protect our earth. And we know how to protect our earth, what we should do and what we shouldn’t do. Look at the writing on the blackboard and try to tell us how to protect the earth.

本课时的学习内容为第七单元Grammar time,作为第2课时,基本环保的单词、理念在第1课时都已学过,有些句型有涉及,但没有详细、具体地加以运用。所以通过复习引出本课时所要学的内容,进一步巩固学习句型use … to …,What should we do? What should we not do? 并能更加有条理地在板书上体现出来,便于复述。
通过学生自己观察重点例子,总结规律,说出句型。should和shouldn’t作为情态动词,学生自然也是能总结出用法和规律的。这锻炼了学生的独立思考能力和善于发现的本领。
