Step1 Warming up
1.Sing a song.
2.Free talk.
Step2 Presentation and practice
1.做游戏,用身体语言呈现各种症状,学习新词。
T: What’s the matter?
Are you cold?
S: Yes, I’m cold.
T: What’s the matter?
S: I have a cough. 同法学习a fever, a headache.
2.师假装来电话,呈现句型。
T: Hello, this is Mr. Wei speaking.
How are you?
I’m sorry to hear that.
Take care.
Step3 Story time
- T: My friend is ill. I’m sorry to hear that. Look at the picture.
出示Part one图,T: How is Yang Ling? 看图问答,理解课文大意。
S1: She is ill.
2.Listen to the tape, then answer the questions.
(1)Where is Yang Ling?
(2)What’s the matter with her?
(3)Can she go to school today?
3.出示Part two图
(1)Where is Yang Ling?
(2)How is she now?
(3)Can she go to school tomorrow?
在回答问题中,随机学习新词汇:may, hear, take care, tomorrow.
4.Read after the tape.师及时纠正指导语音语调。
5.小组活动,Read the dialogue in different ways.
6.小组活动,Act the dialogue.鼓励学生按照自己的理解表演课文。
Step4 Homework
1.Copy the new words four times.
2.Read the dialogue, try to recite it.
