To be able to to understand the culture behind Chinese cooking.教学方法PowerPoint presentation slides of images of Cooking Skills and Culture.课前准备 教学媒体PowerPoint presentation slides       教学过程教学环节教师活动设计学生活动设计设计意图活动一:创设情境 生成问题Present a short video about different Cooking Skills and Culture.cook泛指烹饪食物,并非某种特殊的烹饪方式,适用范围很广。把食材放入水中煮开是烹饪菜肴常有的一道工序,这个工序叫做“boil”。煎东西我们都要用到平底锅(pan),因此,表达“煎”我们可以用pan-fry蒸笼中的食物都是靠滚烫的水蒸气慢慢蒸熟的。焖是指盖紧锅盖,用微火或锅的余热把饭菜煮熟,烹饪时间相对较短。指食物用油炸或炒过后再用文火煨炖,一般汤汁不覆盖食物。smoke这个词的原意指的是吸烟,把这个动词变成过去分词,可以形容用熏制法制作的菜肴。无论瓜、果、梨、桃还是各种肉类、蔬菜,用盐、糖、辣椒、酱油、酒等,以技巧、时间使它们变成风味独特的美味。放在铁架、铁格子上烤用“grill”;放在烤箱、火炉中烤用“roast”;放在密封的容器中,食物不直接接触火的烤用“bake”。3.
