    本单元的话题是我的梦想。其主要教学内容是职业类名词和句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be...  为了使学生更好地掌握本单元的句型和词汇,教师在教学过程中应启发学生联系实际多运用。并通过对dream这一话题的讨论,引导学生树立正确的价值观,心怀梦想并为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗。

     

    Teaching aims:

    1. 能够正确表述所学过的职业类名词。

    2.理解Cartoon time的小故事,并能正确朗读,了解他人的梦想,并树立自己的理想。

    3.能掌握一般将来时的用法,掌握两个重点句型want to do以及will, should的用法。

    4.会使用want to be/do will的句型来进行仿写来描述自己的梦想。

     

     

    Focus of teaching

    1. 能够正确表述所学过的职业类名词。

    Difficulties of teaching:

    1.学生能自主阅读cartoon time,读懂内容,体会乐趣,提高自主阅读能力

    2.会使用want to be/do will的句型来进行仿写来描述自己的梦想。

    Teaching procedures:

    Step1 Warm-up

    1. Lets sing

       Im a little teacher

    1. Play a guessing game

        review some jobs

    1. Retell the story time

       ... wants to be...

       (Because)...wants to ...

       T as a model, then Ss retell one by one

     

    Step2 Presentation

    1. Free talk

      (Show the picture)

      Who are they? Do you want to know their dreams?

    1. Watch and match

       teach: scientist, artist

    1. Lets fill

      To make their dreams come true, what will they do?

      read the text carefully, underline some key sentences

      report and finish the blackboard design

       (Ss pick the correct answer and stick on the blackboard and then make a report )

      teach: study hard, be brave, do more sport...

       read after the tape

     

    Step3 Consolidation

    1. Group work

      Choose one task to finish (4 in a group)

      read for us (read together or read one by one)

      act for us (role play and act it out)

       We all have a dream. Whats your dream?

       T pick S1, S2...

       T: What do you want to be in the future?

       S: I want to be ....

       T: What will/ should you do?

       S: I will/ should...

    1. Pair work

       Make an interview

       A: Hi, XXX! What do you want to be?

       B: I want to be ....

       A: What will you do?

       B: I will/ should...

     

    Step4 Practice

    1. Lets guess

      T: Do you know my dream? Can you guess?

      Ss: ....

      T: My dream is.... (show the model on the ppt)

    1. Lets share

      Whats your dream? Can you write down? (P87.)

      Make a presentation and share with the whole class.

    1. Emotion education

      I believe that, if you try your best, you can be what you want to be!

     

     

    Step5 Homework

    1. Read cartoon time three times fluently.
    2. Continue to finish your writing and share with your parents.
    3. Finish some exercises.
